On par with both he is just a different flavor think about like BBQ wings vs lemon pepper wings vs buffalo wings; in the end they are good just your preference.

For those that don't about this monster of coach. Notice the mention about wanting to be a Federal Agent.

If he does come to Miami, there is going to be a HUGE CULTURAL HURDLE FOR HIM, southern dlinemen a very different animal than polynesian kids. He likes blue collar work hard keep your mouth shut types.

He references "Don't rise to the occasion instead trust your trust your training" a la Al Golden Era.

He has dorlus at oregon who went to deerfield. Dorlus was 1st team pac 12 this year. He had jordon scott from largo too.

I am referring to in general southern dlinemen like attention and feel they are just Jumbo athletes .

Love Simpson. But gotta admit he’s not that strong on the recruiting trail. Stroud was an “okay” recruiter but not the best coach and Kul was all coach no recruiting. We need a guy that can do both.

Is this the guy?

Need some coaches that can develop kids as well, if Mario wants him over all these retreads them I’m good with that.
We will have plenty of recruiters on this staff.

His entire coaching career has been on the west coast. Those PNW guys love that area. I’m pessimistic that he’d want to come out here, where he likely has little connections. But we’ll see.
