Bama looks like they are going to take a small class this year. Only 14 kids signed this late in the season. That means that Jobe and pops got a massive bag. Probably a very healthy 6-figure bag. So all he's seeing is dollar signs making the classic short-sighted mistake.

He's going to go to Tuscaloosa and get stuck in a loaded secondary (20 DBs currently on their roster) with 3 4* DBs coming in this class along with him (one of which is the top JUCO CB). And Bama has been stacking top talent every single year during Saban's 10-year run which means that Jobe won't be head and shoulders better than the rest of the DBs on the roster. He'll likely be mid-pack until his Junior year if he's lucky.

Then to top it off, Saban will be 67 when the 2018 season begins. No way he's going to be at the helm for another 4 years. I give him 2 maybe 3 more years tops. And once Clemson bends them over in the playoffs, you'll start to hear more rumblings about Saban losing his magic. Bama's days at the top are numbered.

Versus Miami trending up with a Head Coach who will be here for another 10 years or so, and a roster that is wide open for him to step in Day 1 and challenge for a starting role. Which means he can showcase instantly and be a 3 and out to the NFL without a doubt and make a ton of money.

But he's short sighted and will make a huge mistake that he will regret. Too bad he can't see all of this coming a mile away.

Clearly none of that matters in the present to all the parties involved. It's all about the bags and they can't complain if he gets no PT

For all the crap Ferman got from (me) and others, he was right about Jobe. He was adamant that Jobe would sign with Bama even after Jobe came out with that fake stuff on twitter. Behind the scene Jobe was telling Bama and pretty much anyone who would listen that he would sign with BAMA. Kid played us, I wish him nothing but the worst.

We're not. You need to accept this - Jobe is gone. He's going for Saban, not for Pruitt.
