I think you'll get a lot more clarity following the visit with him and the meeting with his dad this week.

If you see us put the hardcore full court press on Surtain then you got your answer on Jobe.

For once part of me is hoping he's trolling and messing around because for the life of me I can't understand why you want to treat the hometown team and staff especially Richt this way.

No Miami visit for Jobe. He’s also signing early now.... to Alabama. Still 1000% committed to Miami though

Yeah..reading that article it seems all but over he is going to flip. Doesn't want to talk to anymore coaches, dad says last guy he talks to he seems to like best. He is visiting Bama the weekend before he signs. ******* guy has been committed forever and is pulling this ****. **** him.

I won't laud him for playing Saban, couldn't care less for that quite honestly. I would've rather him helped build the class up instead of having a field day with trolling, if he were to sign.

Meanwhile, I've seen on numerous occasions, players that are at or exceed Jobe's talent level like Lo, Brevin Jordan and Cam Davis go out and recruit for Miami.
 
Kid is gone...article on Canesport pretty much sums it up. Taking visit to Bama, not to Miami and is refusing to come to Miami before signing...he don't want to be anywhere near Miami.

* Alabama: “I just like everything about them, the coaches. They have great talent. I have to do what’s best for me and my career in college.”

* Miami: “Miami is Miami. I like the people there, the school, and it’s home.”

Always be wary of kids that are committed for a prolonged period of time, but chose to not sign at the first possible opportunity.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, I have no idea as to whether he is, or isn't recruiting behind the scenes. I am in complete agreement that he should be helping recruit kids for the class publicly along with the likes of Lo, Cam, etc., but some kids just aren't built that way. Some kids need the attention, and prefer to play the games. I'm not saying it's the way things should be done, it's just the reality of how some of these kids are raised these days. All in all, paying any mind to anything Jobe says or does is a waste of energy. Until pen hits paper, it's a toss up between us and Baga. To think otherwise is foolish

If the coaches dnt feel good bout it, i wish they would be first in publically pulling his offer. I get fighting til the end on some kids but this kid has no character. Handles himself like a joke. And honestly we dnt need that type of fool within this team.

You would hope Ivey & Frierson would be in their boys ear telling him not to be such a ****. What did UM ever do to Jobe? Is he mad at the city of Maimi cus his chick is ****** that FSU DE?

He is an extremeist though. UM fans will either want to burn him at the stake or build a monument for him IF hes yanking Saban's chains.
 
The writing is on the wall from the staff on this one too. Has to be a reason we haven’t sent a single coach to meet with him or his family this week. Either our coaches know he’s gone, or they are all on the same page with his little troll game.
 
He posted a picture on instagram of Saban with his family, he's definitely gone. Why the f0ck would he treat his hometown team like this

I’m actually thinking he’s been gone of awhile...it explains us getting involved with Keidron Smith late and never giving him an offer, same can be said with John Huggins.
 
Sucks, he is a grown man on that field but we saw the writing on the wall a while ago. After all that honoring Sean Taylor talk he did I hope Lingard puts him out of the game when we play them in a couple years. Use his scholly on another OL/DT and get Campbell. Keep rollin’.

Surtain never had anything to do with jobe we were takingboth regardless. We take talent and u squeeze them in by all means
