Jeudy survey

Would Jeudy be a big miss knowing when he gets here we will have Soph...Cager, Richards, Mullins, Bruce, SRs Berrios, Harris, Langham? What is your opinion...

jJ is the best wr the minute he gets here

Rare talent sure fire 1st rounder imo hes on cook and coopers level

I think jeudy is really good, high 4* or maybe even 5* good, but I do not agree with this assessment. Those guys were on another level

Regardless jeudy is a must get.
lets see how Jeudy responds this year to all the hype. Lots of WRs and DTs get lazy in this spot. Some take their game to another level. Looking forward to it though

Jeudy doesn't act like a lazy recruit. He could have easily not competed at Paradise camp. He just came back from the opening where he dominated and still chose to work out even though he had an offer. That's not an act of a guy who is satisfied with his status.
Agreed completely

It takes more than one player. It takes a collective of talent on Jeudy's level to win.

Cooper and Ridley didn't get Bama their championships alone. They certainly helped, but they were part of a larger collection of blue chips.
Dalvin ain't winning championships at FSU (and probably helped cost them a shot to another Championship Game). Matter fact, as beastly as he is, he's never won a bowl game. Collins? Keef? Michel? Valentine? The other misses? They not propelling their squads to the next level on their own (or at all even).

But imagine them on the same team, though? That's where our problem has been. That's the difference between us and the current elites. Look at what LSU did with their DT class and what Bama does with their DB class every year. Dudes were straight up turning down immediate playing time at other schools to sit the bench on those squads. In essence, those schools hit on the majority of their targets. They don't really have many Plan B's. They get their guys and secure their backyards/hunting grounds.

With that said, it may take a collective of elites to win, sometimes, all it takes is one elite to change the minds of a collective. Jeudy or (long shot) a Leatherwood could be that guy. They commit to us, I guarantee a whole lot of other recruits will start giving us a serious look this cycle and beyond. Jeudy's commitment is more important in terms of making a statement about the state of the program, as opposed to his importance on the field.

Good post.

LOL at anyone who think Jeudy is not a must get.

Jeudy is literally showing the ability to be uncoverable. He's turning DBs around left and right. That's my whole fascination w/ him as a prospect, he's turning around DBs and he's not being coached up at a collegiate level right now. It's one thing to blow past a defender, but when you turn them around, I don't care if you run a 4.8, that's a DBs worst nightmare.

But signing Jeudy signifies much more than a great receiver being picked up by us....it signifies that we are beating Bama at poaching our kids. That ish needs to stop and it needs to stop w/ this 2017 class. It's one thing that FSU and UF are poaching our kids, it's quite another that Saban feels so comfortable coming into our back yard getting whoever he wants.

Bama kids wontcome to miami thats all u have to say.we cant pull an elite target from tusc........if we want to see a real staff they havw to land the elite kids i our back yard every hear......if we do that for three classes...prayers sent for cfb as a whole

Jeudy is a must get. I was in Buffalo today. They have a 3 story airport with a 3-story tall poster of Sammy Watkins near the center of the terminal. The best description I can give of my reaction was "road rage" to think we keep losing So FL first-rounders like him. Will it kill the program, no, this is a journey. But every play-maker like Jeudy who goes to a Clemson, FSU or Bama weakens Miami. Those guys cannot win without So FL talent. No more.

clubhouse leader for zinger of the year

Dude, just ask him out and get it over with.I don't believe that there is one of his post that you don't upvote or quote.Let him know how you feel and let the chips fall where they may. They say that kind of thing is ok nowadays.

LOL at this facquit constantly checking who is upvoting my posts. What kind of purported man checks another man's up/downvotes? An obsessed bunny boiling facquit. That's the type. Fcking DallasCane sneaking around under a new screen name.

Seriously.

I called the guy out for starting bull**** threads about politics so now he goes around down voting all of my posts.

I think it's more of a statement that Miami is on the rise again, but I do think it will take them showing on the field this season, so I could see a lot of disappointment when kids have Alabama and FSU as favorites. It takes a lot for kids to buy in to the hope that a program will get better, vs a program that is already on top, and almost guaranteed to go to the playoff or a big bowl game.

Its more then JJ. Its about winning battles against Bama. The whole college football world has there eye on Miami. They know what we can become.

Canes history is the guy on the bench waiting his turn is faster and better than the guy playing! I still remember Edge coming in and thinking "what the heck is he on the bench for" Willis was playing fullback on the last title team, then BAM! We need to get the top So Fl talent to keep it for others and push the guys in front.

The kid looks 5-10 yards open on most of the reps I've seen because of his cutting ability and route running, we need this kid. I'm happy with the talent we are bringing in at the WR position but this kid can be a difference maker. You put him with Sam Bruce, D. Mullins and Ahmon Richards and you are going to give opposing defenses major problems. We need to continue to stack blue chip prospects every year to avoid having depth issues like we may have this season.

Nobody we miss on will set this team back thats always the case... Guys like Dalvin Cook wouldve still been part of a below average fb team regardless.

This.

This is what some don't get.

Even if we'd have gotten Ridley, or Cook, or fill-in-the-blank, UM's choice of inept coaches would have done nothing with all that talent.

Winners like to win. We win, we'll draw winners.

Just like Bama.

If i was a recruiter all i would say is miami at its best is better than any other team u can field even bamas.

Huge miss. Langham will be shown the door, Coley and Lewis graduate. Mullims until we get word we have no idea. Cager just hurt his knee. That's leaves Dayall Harris, AR and Bruce. He will be a huge miss.

You don't think this would be a completely different team if we had Cook this year? Kaaya and a home run threat to play PA off of would be jaw dropping awesome. One player does make a difference, ask Bama Amari's freshman year. Whenever they were in a tough spot he would come through for them.

With Cook here we beat FSU the last two years and Golden is probably still here. So it would be bitter sweet. I hope Cook goes to the draft early.

I am 100% convinced that Golden, even with those blue chippers, would not have succeeded at Miami with his garbage Defense. It may be a blessing in disguise we didn't get those kids. Richt, with those blue chippers...........oh, man!
