I agree that announcing in favor of an OOS on a local program would be a stab at the home community but shouldn't we at least wait until the announcement is actually made in favor of Bama before we start savaging the guy and wishing him a life of injury and unhappiness???

If a kid doesn't want this U, especially after the hiring of Richt and staff, and with Richt putting $1M of his own money into a practice facility, then they're not one of us and they don't belong here. I don't wish them career ending injury but I've got no hometown love for them and I never will. I'll never root for Teddy Bridgewater but I'll always pull for Duke Johnson.

When you read Dingle's latest interview about his commitment to Miami, that kid is a natural Born Cane, he bleeds Orange & Green.
He wants to put on for his city & bring this thing back, and it's not just a South Fla thing either.
DJ Johnson is a highly recruited kid with over 90 offers including Bama, USC, Oregon & a bunch others, the #4 ranked player in the state of California & he had us in the lead before he had ever even visited campus.
We weren't on him for two years, so the idea that because Bama has been recruiting Jeudy for a long time really wouldn't mean anything if he was supposed to be a Hurricane. It's that simple... I'm not saying I don't want elite caliber kids like JJ, but at the end of the day, like Ray Lewis said at Paradise, "You're either wit us or you're not.."

Everyone is qualifying their desire for injury with his choice of Alabama. No one wants him hurt if he chooses UM. Therefore, these UM men are fair and logical in their approach.
