Jeudy announcing Thursday

Spent some time on the 'Bama forums to see what they had to say about Jeudy. Found this recruiting board that one of their insiders posted if anyone was interested.

From everything they're saying there, there's absolutely no doubt Jeudy ends up at 'bama, I didn't even see the word Miami be mentioned once. A couple posters said he already notified 'bama staff of his impending commitment, who knows if that's true. Time to move on though, he aint coming here

Bama only took one WR in 2016 and has one committed in 2017. Definitely have room for Smith and Jeudy without one of them having to feel rushed.

RB is another story. They took one last class but have two committed now, including the best one in the country. So depth chart working in Miami's favor for McFarland if we are making that argument. Not for Jeud/Smith.

But they also lead for 2 other WR also (Nico Collins and i forgot the other)..they wont be able to sign them all...they dont allow oversigning in SEC

But if Smith and Jeudy get in in August they are takes for Bama. They will fill out the class later with one of the others.

Get your minds right. It's remarkable after 8 months that Richt is legit going toe to toe with the premier program in the nation. We may not win a bunch of those battles this year, but we will in the very near future. Inferiority complexes BE GONE.

Looking at that Alabama recruiting board (assuming it's correct), it's interesting to see that even the studs have to worry about their spots. Good problem to have, I know, but if you're on that receiver list and the school is telling you they're taking, for example, "the first 3 on our board who commit and shut down their recruitment", then there is pressure to save your spot, assuming that's where you really want to go. It might be a good idea for a kid like Jeudy to commit to bama to save his spot, and since he lives close to UM he could keep that door open until signing day by not taking officials (as bama probably requires you to do), if he wanted to. He probably couldn't do it the other way around.

I am an optimist at heart first of all.Also,I was told by the guy who post the most on this site that Jeudy was a cane lock and I believe him.He is never wrong,just ask him.Another reason is Bama is loaded at wr and their qb sucks-we have Kaaya and Allison after him-no comparison.Bama only really throws to one receiver,when they finally throw, and we spread the ball all over the field.Richt cares about his players more than Saban does.To Saban,they are just numbers and Richt cares about them during and after football.I believe that Jeudy will stay home and help bring the Canes back to being the dominant program that we once were.I guess we will find out Thursday.Even if he does pick Bama,it's not over,not even close.

I agree with you but I think he picks Bama tomorrow. Once we show a pulse and play well during the season I believe he will flip to us. Other than him showing to Paradise camp there are no signs that say Miami. I do hope your boy is right though.

Everyone knows I'm probably the biggest pro-Jeudy guy on this board; and even with that said, it's one player and it's early. At first, I was getting real panicked about our class for 2017 as I'm seeing all these big name recruits start committing to the usual suspects; then I had to remember, why wouldn't these kids commit to their "favorite" schools right now? This team just won the national title, that team just won its conference title, so on and so forth.

However, what's different this year is that top kids have us in their top 5 more than ever, and top kids are whispering about us. What's different this year is that top kids are truly waiting to see what happens this year w us.

I think we've all been Goldenized and Shannonized. For 13 years we've been a laughing stock, and forced to watch horrible recruiters and horrible coaching. For 9 years, we've seen elite recruits after elite recruits leave us, even though they grew up rooting for us. I get it, but we have a real coach now. Richt has been weeding out players from the program and recruits who don't fit. I firmly believe after this season, Richt will get majority of the top players on his board, regardless of where these kids may commit to now.

You got Deejay Dallas saying we have a silent to shock the world and you got DJ Johnson committing way earlier than he said. Maybe the staff asked the two huge silents to come out and be ambassadors for the program to get other big recruits to be part of something bigger than just reloading a team like bama. That would bring Jeudy to Miami early also. What's the bigger story? 'bama again' or 'Miami's back!' ??

I like the way you think! I've got to tell you man if it went down like that this site would crash for sure. That would be something that would get everyone's attention. Talk about electrifying the fan base! Having said all that I'm still saying the pick will be Alabama. For now at least.

My optimism my be getting away from me but with how things have been going, I'm hoping the dominoes keep falling.
