Jerry Jeudy "Interview" by UF reporter

no coaches for deerfield have been there for years, the HC was promoted fairly recently and he was well respected by the Monarch kids and most other kids so thats why people transferred. Like I said earlier Deerfield only has one kid that went to Bama and at the end of the cycle he gave Miami a good look because of Richt. They coached powell (UF shouldve been UM), strowbridge (UNC, James Pierre (UNC but ended up at Syracuse i believe) and Cavin Ridley (Georgia). If Jeudy goes to Bama its not because of the coaches pushing him there

Coach Glenn has been at Deerfield for years lol he didnt come from Monarch. Maybe an underling coach came from Monarch but only to get the players over to deerfield

thats not the reason but okay believe what you want.. knew Golden was trying to get Cook instead of him and wouldve dropped him if they did get Cook so decided to drop UM instead. I understand if you speculate about things but i actually know these people im talking about soooooo. Also my little brother is starting school at Deerfield this year so ill talk with Coach Cam at some point and see if i can get info on Jeudy's recruitment

Actually it's been well rumored that Golden was slow playing Powell in hopes of getting Cook...so I believe this.

I do feel that Bama is dirty, big time...but I also feel that winning is the biggest equalizer. When Miami starts winning again, I'm sure we won't be worried about what any other school is doing. Fact is, SMU played dirty back in the late 70's and 80's, and that didn't stop us.

They focused more in the texas area for recruits

That's not true. They recruited nationally. The boneheads that got them in trouble was from Pittsburgh I believe.

Yep. Sean Stopperich. That's what initially drew attention- some top ranked OL recruit from Western Pennsylvania strangely choosing to go to SMU. I believe he later died of a drug overdose but there's an interesting story I read about Mark Cuban's brother giving him a ride back to Dallas from Pittsburgh after he aired all the dirt on SMU.

Does Bama really make sense for Jeudy? He's got 15 WR's on the roster at Bama with one more already commited to this years class...Only two are seniors, so that makes 14 guys in front of him for playing time...

Starting to think we have a better chance with Devonta Smith than Jeudy....hearing that kinda lets everyone know he is Bama bound

Sounds like he's enslaved. These athletes are nothing more than money makers for these so called universities.

I didn't say he came over as a head coach. But I'm pretty sure Calvin Davis is involved with Deerfield in some capacity. And he was already caught with his hand in Bama's cookie jar with Ridley and had no real repercussions. So why wouldn't he do it again with Jeudy?

I dont know the full coaching staff so ill look into that this season, and ill ask the coaches about Jeudy's recruitment to see if he's giving us a realistic look or not. but I believe that the longer he takes to commit to Alabama the better our chances to get him look.. seems like its Alabama in the lead but if Miami gives him a good reason to stay home (10 win season), then he might stay home. Never know

This is not a good look for the Gators. I'd be ****ed if I were a coach or fan.

I said focus mostly in texas, i dont believe they got any SoFl kids which was our main area of recruiting back then

I know for a fact that Saban met with big time donors when hired and told them I will bring you titles as long as you are willing to come off the money to get the players
