Hurtt wont be coaching for a very long time when the NCAA gets done with him. They are coming after him hard according to Feldman.

We don't put any stock in Feldmans bad news..for good reason. I wanna believe this good news...just can't trust the source. Hope Hurtt gets it with no lube right up his corn hole.

Uh, Feldman is pretty **** reliable. Not Manny or SMD that we are talking about.

manny is kind of a miami hater. Always negative. Mike Bakas is the same. Most of these guys dont like miami which is exampled by recruits losing stars when they commit to us.

1) If Grace changed his announcement to allow Louisville to pitch him one last time, then he probably was going to announce for us, and I don't see them changing his mind at the last minute

2) If Hurtt gets a major show cause it's a bad thing for us because it means the NCAA were able to corroborate this bull****. The NCAA has talked about putting more responsibility on coaches but also handing out more severe sanctions overall, so let's hope Feldman is wrong. I would rather Hurtt fight for our rejects (and let's be honest, that's all it will be from here on out), than us get hammered.

with louisville's success in south florida since strong got hired, it wouldn't really be a shock if grace went there.

i guess you can read this thing two ways: "he wants to make his recruiting suspenseful" (which is a nice POV for a canes fan) or "he was shopping himself around because he's not 100% on miami"... i guess we'll see which wins out

its actually good news that the NCAA is going after individuals

The main things I am seeing here are

1. Grace gave his has to AQM to try to convince him to announce for the Canes. Think about how pumped up Grace must have been to seen AQM pick the Canes over ND and Alabama on national television at the US Army Game, arguably the most prestigious of the All-Star games. (UA is also the best if not the second best, that is why I said arguably)

2. Grace, a Miramar student-athlete, looks up to Tracy and Malcolm soo much. Both Tracy and Malcolm committed to the Canes. We obviously know Tracy was much more suspenseful and exciting since it was on ESPN on NSD. I don't think Grace would let down Tracy and Malcolm, 2 of his biggest role models, by showing up the U and choosing Louisville. I just cant see it happening.

Grace himself knows that the U has tremendous youth and talent, and will be fighting in BCS Bowls during his potential tenure not only because of Al Golden telling him so, and the stats from last year and all that jazz, but also because Deon, Duke, Tracy, Malcolm, and all the other current freshman that signed with the 2011 class had the balls to sign with a down Miami team because they believed in the future.

Grace wants in on whats happening at the U, you better believe it.

/I hope Hurt gets his *** hole reamed by the NCAA.

Yes, it would be a ******* shock if he went there. Every single one of your porsts is pure mopery, and UL doesn't beat out UM for kids that UM has recruited all year (and please don't include kids like Teddy Bridgewater who went to UL when there was a coaching change). Stop the bull****.

Sorry, do not have time to read this whole thread. Is Grace still announcing today? If so what time?

we lost keith brown and james burgess to them last year. golden is an excellent recruiter and got off to a great start, but we can't start saying that we have our south florida targets on lock until it happens several years in a row.

Clearly identical situations I'm sure.

Did we even offer James Burgess? Were we going to take Keith Brown's brother last year knowing that scholarship reductions might be looming?

we did offer burgess and he flipped. and no, we weren't going to take brown's brother. but the fact is that every individual situation is unique. you can't sit there and say that we're getting all of our targets and then cherry-pick which ones don't count. i'm not knocking on golden because he's the best thing we've had in forever, but everyone said the same **** about randy after the 2008 class (that is not implying that i think they're anywhere on the same level because golden is a real coach, but you need to objectively critique).
