FSU and I don’t think it’s close. Unfortunately Norvell and FSU has done better than what we needed to do this season and I’d say we’re going to feel the pain of it on the offensive side on ESD.

I Give Up GIF

That Miami of Ohio team you’re dissing is 9-2. How about you just call a spade a spade and admit that for some unexplained reason the offense changed?

It's not unexplained. The quarterback went into the toilet mentally during the GT game, and then got hurt physically in the UNC game. He's been a complete corpse ever since.

They went into a shell cause of qb trust imo. I saw ken Dorsey last drive all runs because he took it out of Allen’s hand. But if they do it here it’s the coordinator but everywhere else it’s the player. If Dorsey got hired here and ran it they would blame Mario instead of looking at circumstances that change week to week.

I’d be happy to be wrong and see an influx of high end talent on offense. I can see it on Defense but please tell me what we have done on offense to warrant JJ Smith and any WRs, TEs and/or QBs flipping here over schools like FSU, Ohio State with Hartline and Day, Ole Miss with Lane…. etc?
Miami isn't that far behind FSU or OSU in total offense. OSU and FSU are only averaging 40 yards in passing more than Miami as well. Since GT, Miami has been a **** hole on offense, but OSU and FSU haven't been taking the world by storm. And if you consider next year, OSU (without two 1st round picks WRs), and FSU without Travis, Wilson, Coleman, and Bell......there is a lot of rebuilding that must be done. OSU and FSU aren't light years ahead of Miami as one might think and again, this is with Miami completely ****ting the bed with TVD and the offense since GT.

They’re 10-0 and we’re 6-4. Our QB room is a mess, theirs isn’t. Our OC situation is not stable, theirs is. I think we’re perceived as not remotely as good or as stable as them on the offensive side of the ball. We’ll see soon enough on ESD.

I wouldn't say that the OC Situation here is unstable. By all accounts, Dawson is much more likely than not to be here next year. Also, it is a good point that FSU, for example, is gonna be a completely different offense next year. They're losing nearly 90% of their offensive production, and they haven't shown an ability to develop their HS talent.

I ultimately don't think we flip JS. But I don't think we're that behind. We just need a decent QB.

Nah lol.

He ain’t coming here. FSU is confident he’ll flip soon. Ohio St scoffs at these claims, just a back-and-forth on social media about it. We’ll see who’s right.
**** sad. Never thought the best player in Broward/Dade area would be a coin flip between FSU/OSU with Mario as HC…. Idk man Im in the twilight zone.

How is our OC situation unstable? Because of Ghandi who heard from a friend who, heard it from another guy?

Not stable bc we suck. Regardless of TVD throwing more to the other team than ours, the lack of creativity is alarming. Unstable by nature due to bad results. Our QB coach should be fired for how TVD has looked at a minimum… oh wait

Like I said, we’ll see soon enough how it finishes on ESD. My original response was to someone saying we’re more likely to flip JJ Smith than FSU if he were to flip from Ohio State and I basically said no way. JJ will easily go there over UM given the way things have gone.

Because we took a QB who was ACC Rookie of the Year, and after Gattis ruined him, he’s even worse now - unplayable. This is a guy Bama made a run for in the off-season. There’s nothing remotely stable about our offense except for the OL. RB is ok. If you’re a QB, WR or TE, do you really think UM is a better situation than FSU right now?

vs FSU, we out gained them by 13 yards on offense with a QB that consistently threw behind receivers, over receivers, and in the ground in front of receivers. (loss the game)
vs NC State we out gained them by 61 yards on offense (loss the game)
vs UVA we were outgunned by 100 yards on offense (won the game)
vs Clemson we out gained them on offense by 18 yards (won the game)
vs NC we were out gained by 20 yards on offense (lost the game)
vs GT we out gained them by 200 yards on offense (lost the game)

the problem isn't offense and moving down the field vs these teams. It's the actual play of the QB.

Hello darkness my old friend
Lol just calling it how I see it. I’m shocked that people think we’re so close on offense to being a 10-0 type contender.

FSU has beat us on the field and on the trail. I have zero confidence in our ability to pull JJ Smith over them right now, were he to flip. But that’s ok, no offense intended to the true believers. We’ll see soon enough.

Idk. They're a bit of a wildcard on offense heading into next year given all they're losing. Also will depend on how we upgrade the QB position via the portal.

They’ve got us there already. They could also go into the portal and pull a QB, and they’ve been better in the portal than we have these past couple years.
