I still can never understand how and why Ohio St seemingly always gets 5 star WRs and others from South Florida

Successful program yes, but its not like these players are leaving to go to USC and live in LA.

They're choosing Ohio. I get it, its a college town and they put WRs in the NFL

3 first round wrs in the last 4 years, 4 if u count jameson williams who went 12th but couldn’t get on the field there lol. Its the same thing with bama years back, if u have elite college wrs and they go high in the draft the top recruits will go to your school. i think geography matters but its discussed more by fans than recruits.

Think about it, mario/mirabal are considered elite Oline coaches have guys that went high in the draft and guess what that got us? 2 of the top 3 olineman in the same class. And they got elite ones to commit to oregon, mario got elite ones to go to bama. Geography don’t matter like that, winning and high draft picks matters more for top recruits

Looking back at overall body of work Smith because he has a top QB which Andre didn't have but Andre had like 40 catches for 985 yards his senior season. Had he had a stellar QB his overall stats would have been disgusting
