I mean we still have Trader and Robinson committed. They're both better than our roster now. So we're still upgrading there.

And lots of teams have done well on offense without an elite WR.

Our CB committed now is Fredrique from STA. While I think he's talented, he's hardly what we need to take that next step.

Our CB recruiting is just underwhelming.

hard to argue against your first and last point. The counter is that Smith is local and landing him sends shockwaves bigger than Ellis.

Look at the production of our receiver room. Imagine what an elite WR1 talent like yourself can do in this offense. The WR1s at FSU and OSU are studs, but look at the numbers young man and come here and ball out.

We NEED Robinson or another CB like him.

CB recruiting is a bigger mystery than WR recruiting. I think Smith has a bigger impact on program but Robinson has bigger impact on field. We could potentially lose 4 corners this year.
