Jenkins has been eating his wheaties

I don't remember Jenkins' recruitment. Considering how well he played as a true freshman, why did he go so unnoticed?

RSJ has just as much potential as Bush.

It may not even be before the end of the season that they are the best defensive backfield in the country with Burns, Carter, and Howard joining them.

in 1 or 2 more years perhaps

DEFINITELY not two.

If not by the end of this season, then at the beginning of '14.

Howard, Bush, RSJ and Crawford as juniors

Burns and Carter as Sophs

Gunter as a senior leader

Nah mane, that secondary will have receivers coming to the huddle with smelling salts in their pouches.

lol dont listen to rococo he hates anything that has to do w golden or this current team

I don't know. Bush is a lot rangier and quicker and can still hit. Plus he's only getting bigger. Unless he gained a step since high school I can't see Jenkins running down any relatively quick receivers.

Look back at the USF game..one play a WR got loose from our Db ( YES IT DID HAPPEN)...Jenks was out of place as well and made up ground and broke up the play in the endzone..I knew then things were getting better...he will be a beast waiting for his turn...GUYS THINGS ARE taking shape

I'll admit, last year I thought there was a 50/50 chance Bush would end up as corner and Jenkins would wind up at WR.

That position went from a disaster to a strength. One of the most important developments of 2012.

I don't know what Jenkins you've been watching, but if anything Rayshawn is the rangier one, which is why he tends to have more FS deep responsibilities. That might be his best asset.

Bush is definitely the hitter and great in coming up to shut down the run. Rayshawn is the ballhawk.

You don't see Rayshawn running down any quick receivers? What about when he had 3 PBUs in the Duke game last year sitting in WRs hip pockets with ease, going stride for stride and breaking up passes?

is there a flash forward for this game? Don't remember much of that game to alcohol consumption.

From Jenkins tape I was worried about his speed as he was routinely chased down by high school defensive backs. But I hope you're right

Those were all the 5 star DBS the GATAHS have now...he is quick and get to the ball...I remember a slow Ed Reed.

Jenkins says he is at 218 now.

Hopefully he's still quick and mobile at that weight, but I have my doubts. Not everyone can be The Meast and roam the field effortlessly at 230+ lbs.

He's got a great frame to carry the weight. Really long build.

He's probably 6'2, which is fine for carrying 220+...feel like I remember Golden saying sometime last year that RSJ will be 225+ when he leaves.

This is very homoerotic (nothing wrong with that) give me a number and i'll be happy. How their biceps look dont matter.....

Like mentioned earlier, this team is changing in front of our eyes.

-guys are getting bigger over the off season
-players developed during the season
-depth is being created with another solid recruiting class

Golden is a sharp guy, he'll correct his mistakes. Very excited for things to come, regardless of the past two year's w/l record.
