Sounds like the consensus that we can all agree on is to get JC here and clear up a few bets for us!

Yes, we all agree to get JC.

As for the bets, a lot of bets were made but those that offered the bets aren't so willing to standby them. Their bets don't reflect their confidence. lol

Adding 2 mature 5 star talents in Willis and JC to this defense would be incredible. He was 1 of my favorite recruits coming out. If were going to have success playing agressive, we need corners. Must get.

I haven't changed my bet at all. It's you who keeps trying to change it. You should probably take a break for a little while Paranos. Running multiple accounts can be tiring.

Cubana has blinders the size of tostones lol.
The current UM roster at CB is the weakest it's been in since before Schnellenberger. JC will start in a heartbeat this year and I'll take a PERMANENT ban if you agree to your own bet Cubana.
Stop calling people dummys when you're the only one on this board that agrees with your view.
Who's the dummy? The consensus says you are but I'm willing to wait for it all to play out before calling a fellow fan degrading names.

No, it's not and it's not even close. In Spring 2011, Miami had ONE cornerback on scholarship, Brandon McGee. That's why Lee Chambers had to be moved to the position. That's also why a guy like Mike Williams, who rarely played at Wake Forest, started 11 games in 2011 as a grad transfer.

The cornerback situation is not optimal, but we've got folks arguing about the position and they don't even understand the defense Diaz runs. No position is protected more than both cornerback positions in his defense. Jackson and Redwine are more than serviceable to play in this defensive scheme. Elder is a very good player. Johnson moves from safety to corner back to safety throughout the game. If he doesn't start it won't matter because he'll be on the field. The pressure in the secondary is at the safety positions. We're asking Jenkins, Carter and Johnson to do a lot.

If JC Jackson comes, then we'll be a better secondary and he helps a lot. If he doesn't, then we'll manage. We're not losing games because of our cornerback situation. That I'm sure of.

So....apparently Manny Diaz has some magic defensive scheme where he doesn't need cornerbacks. Cool.

Even if he is not eligible, if the kid was a HS sr and had not signed a LOI, people on here would be going completely nuts for him! This kid is talented and we need the help at CB no matter what anyone on here says.

I want JC here as bad as the next guy but last time I checked he hasnt shown anything at the college level . So let's calm down on the " coming in as number 1 CB " stuff. Elder is the man until I see other wise.

Elder is not as good as everybody keeps screaming. He is a solid corner. He would not even had got drafted if he came out and that's why his *** came back.

He is much better in the slot than he is on the outside.

He came back to improve status, he'd been drafted. But if you're not projected in first three rounds you should come back . If you don't that's foolish .

Corn gave up a lot of big plays last year and nobody brings that up. If it had been howard giving up those plays y'all would have dragged him through the mud.

Nawl the difference is he made a lot more big plays that changed the momentum in a lot of games for us.

He's enrolled at a Juco in Cali...finishing up his semester ...UscE is were he has picked to go when he signs up in Division I...his decision date is
April 11th

I Town, does this mean Miami doesn't have chance with JC or do they have time to sway him to the U? He would be the best CB on the team if he comes to Miami and a chance to win big time under Richt. If he goes to USCe, they have a lot of rebuilding to do, hope he can see this and is not blinded by TRob's BS.

Obviously you can neither read nor comprehend.

not about to read 11 pages, do we have a realistic chance ?

The first 4-5 pages were good but I dont know what the **** was going on those last 6...

Anyway, I think he have a solid chance. Its clear that he doesnt want to be here in his heart of hearts (that "I wouldnt mind going to UM" sounds like him saying that if USCe or another school that peaks his interest doesnt pursue he wouldnt mind settling for UM)

BUT we have to hope that "family" pressure plays a part in this. Apparently everyone in Immokalee including the guy drinking 40s outside the corner store wants him at UM. That could be our saving grace. Clearly he has a great rship with TRob and Rumph needs to get in there somehow and start building one as well.

GTFOH, these kids have the right to go wherever they please. If he don't won't come here then who gives a sh**. With that said, from what I read the kid has open the door for any school to recruit him because he is in no position to be choosy. Therefore, by a certain date he will choose from the teams that have made him an offer including the U.

All of this dude sitting under the tree drinking 40's wants him at the U ain't going to make a bit of difference. He's either coming or he not.
