JC Jackson says Miami no.1 choice!!!!

Nobody will officially know when he is coming until he is qualified and that is not until May. Why the urgency until then?

If this kid is so good, and so much better than Williams, why didn't he start last year? UNC was in contention. I'd assume the coaches would want the best players playing. But what do I know

They ran two qbs the year before last but Williams was terrible without rhythm. They were mostly neck and neck. After much two Qb criticism they went with the one with seniority. Williams is still a below average passer

As a "Canes fan", you are aware that we whipped their asses (44-6 in the 3rd qtr) just last year...with AG as head coach.

Willis was a problem at UF. Haven't heard a peep from him so far at UM except that he was a monster on the scout team.

Clearly you are basing your opinion on your brother because the teams you are showing him playing well against are not even division one teams. One of the other posters made a great point,why would Fedora not start Mitch if he is all that. Fact, he has proven nothing against no one,true? Another fact every team in the country say's their backup is better. Hope your brother stays healthy and good luck with his future at the next level.

An update from Barry Jackson

### In an interview with Canesport today, four-star cornerback J.C. Jackson confirmed what his defensive backs coach had told me previously: that UM is pursuing him. He said he will make a decision in two weeks, and that UM and South Carolina are the schools "mainly" in it. UM "has a fair chance," Jackson said. "That's my home team."

His coach at Riverside Community College, Isaac Shipp, told me Tuesday that Jackson told him that UM is his top choice. Shipp also said that Jackson told Shipp that Jackson has been talking to defensive backs coach Mike Rumph "every other day." But Jackson told Canesport that he talked to Rumph for the first time last week and plans to speak with Mark Richt and Manny Diaz.

One more thing, most on this board don't respect or like Carolina for many reasons. Academic cheating scandal that were still waiting on to crush your brothers program, the tasteless actions of your QB turning the U upside down and not being penalized for his actions and all the lack of class your brothers team showed. Carolina football does not have a winning history or tradition of ever winning anything in football and that is not going to change. Hope they remember their actions when Miami stomps their *** this year. Go Canes!
