Jawon Hamilton Sr Highlights

Not the biggest loss, but I was a fan of his and thought he would've been a solid pickup

With Hamilton, Henderson, Wiggins, Deion, Brady, and possibly Nelson being gone, that's 6 spots opening up.

Not worried about under sized running backs anymore. Look at the type of backs richt recruit now of days as well as the size of the top backs in football

I liked him better then Homer but maybe the coaches know better then me

I won't make a comparison of him and Homer, especially cuz they played different teams...

Him and Amir Rasul played a bunch of the same teams. Watching Amir's highlights is like giving the ball to someone who runs track and telling him to run through the gap and avoid the other players. While Hamilton's highlights is like giving the ball to someone trying to prove himself and saying "we need you to make something happen".

I definitely agree'd with Geo when he posted this:

And just my personal opinion. I like Hamilton more than Whaley. Don't get caught up in the stars.

Whaley = Devwah Whaley, Arkansas, Running Back RB from last year we were recruiting last minute.

Hamilton is a spread offense back. He's a good fit for UCF, but would have been a bad fit here.

Looking back on this thread I can't believe there are people who think we should have taken Hamilton over (if possible) Whaley, who is the prototype Richt back.

Also, UCF blows. There are kids playing flag football at Miami that would look "special" there

I felt alot like Whaley benefited from a good offensive line...most of his highlights are blazing through gaping holes. Similar back to Alabama RB's who look great but aren't as good as they seem when they get to the next level.

I also like Hamilton over Whaley. Much better feet and he plays better defenses.

Five South Florida RBs will be starters or co-starters in the league next year: Freeman, Miller, Gore, Duke and Bernard.

Browns and Bengals going to a two back set? cause neither of them are atop their unofficial depth charts at this point.

I don't know why so many feel the need to compare Hamilton to Whaley. Hamilton is 5'9", 178 pounds. Whaley is 6'0", 209 pounds. They're polar opposites as RBs.

/ Fils-Aime is better than both of them anyway.

That was from an old camp. Hamilton 190 now. About 5'9"-5'10"ish. Whaley a little more of a different back as you mentioned.

BUT where do I agree here is on CFA. He was killing Centrals defense. Gonna be very hard to flip him but Byrd is in his ear.

Looks like he was in Byrd's ear.

That's why I said co-starters. Those teams split snaps.
