Coaching Jason Taylor convo

Just got to got all out to get a great DC and that is it. Aboutly one of the worst defenses in the ACC where the offense has to bail them out every game since the ACC play started.
 
seeing kiko go cover the outside wr at the end fo the game when they got the first down to seal it is all you need to know about why anyone is performing like they are

not sure what happened to guidry, the talent isn't that bad -we are significantly more talented than GT and today was embarrassing

Talent excuse is inexcusable
 
Way too much stunting.

And also, dropping a DE into coverage should be something you do like once every 3 games in order to try and trick the QB. I feel like we drop Baron into coverage multiple times a game. That's garbage.

Between the stunts and the dropping into coverage, the DEs barely ever get a chance to just get after the qb.

Trying to be way too cute all the time.
 
I'm sorry but people can't ignore that this dline has had a lack of physicality all season, as they've repeatedly gotten bullied by the opposing oline. I don't know whether that's on Taylor or just a mental thing, but we all see it

I doubt any of that is on JT. I remember Guidry having ends in coverage when people posted his film from Marshall when he was hired. One of Alston's highlights was him in coverage and got a pick 6.

I feel his scheme kills our strength on the DL. Getting after the QB.

Yeah those are true hybrid LBs/DEs… not Messidor who you fatten up and had playing DT up till about two weeks ago

Jason Taylor is a rookie coach that should have started at FIU. He needs to be fired as well! No hometown favor from me!
