Candle’s offense sucks.

There’s a reason why no P5 school has come knocking.

He’s suppose to be an offensive specialist. But his offense isn’t good enough to justify hiring him.

Mario likes him so much because his offense sucks. If you knew nothing else about Candle, at this point Mario’s desire to have him so much should tell you everything you need to know about how bad Candle is.

Listen, Candle gave Manny Diaz's defense fits, just like Patty Nix gave Onion head's defenses fits. It's time to hire the man!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he would offer beard the CO-OC or AHC title to lure him up to Michigan state everyone knows beard was candle plug into south Florida. Beard is respected in south Florida

I would’ve thought UCLA would go after Grubb. But Smith would be a great hire if they go that route. His style seems like a better fit at MSU given their roster. But with the move to the B10 it probably doesn’t matter.

That’s a terrible hire for a school that actually has money and made a playoff

MSU is going to have to pay off Tucker and probably Brenda Tracy sooner than later or fight each of them in court.

Elko was probably the best they could have realistically gotten this year. Candle is a step below. Still a good hire. Candle knows how to recruit the leftovers of Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois as well as having ties to Florida.

Fickell would have been the perfect fit, he was recruited and coached by D’Antoni at Taint but he took the Wisconsin job last year.

It's very possible. Used to coach there and AZ is hemorrhaging money. Smith is a Pasadena native so I'm sure he'll be on the short list.
