Jarren Williams

To the guy asking who was better between him and Perry, it depends on what you are looking for. Perry is the better passer and Williams the better runner. Both seem to keep their eyes downfield when on the move, Williams though takes off quicker. Perry will have more time in the system so he will have an edge. I'm happy with them both and who knows, Weldon may surprise us all.

I think Perry has a significantly better arm, but Williams is more accurate. Williams' arm is ok. I think Perry could be a better runner if he were more willing. It's not like Williams has got a J.T. Barrett noodle, but it's not a cannon either. I actually think Williams is further along polish-wise as a HS Senior than Perry was. Perry will have been in the system longer, but Williams will be an Early Enrollee.

I want them to push each other to be better. And I want the eventual winner to win several NCs and a Heisman.

Wow, hats off to the Richts for out recruiting Urb and Gus/Ohio state and Auburn/Big10 and SEC for an Elite 11 qb that we only got involved with a couple weeks ago. They realized Sits wasn't the answer, identified a new target, secured the first visit and its seems like they maintained the momentum. A few years back, had we lost a commitment (even from someone as clearly flawed as Sits) we would have been scrambling to sign a Div 2 type of recruit. With Richt at the helm and the team winning on the big stage, there isn't a school in nation we should fear on the recruiting trail. Can't wait to see how this class finishes.

Golden couldn't keep Bridgewater when we fired Shannon

That's right. Golden couldn't keep Bridgewater. He messed things up with Amari Cooper too. We missed out on having an elite set of South Florida triplets because of that moron. Bridgewater, Duke Johnson & Cooper.

Well said zanecane. Getting Williams was a great move by coach Richt. He was able to drop a 4* QB in November & get in on another one. One that was already committed to one SEC school & was talking to Ohio State & Auburn. He has made it clear to the rest of college football that Miami has a new coach & this one isn't afraid of Meyer or the SEC.

its refreshing to come on the board this late in the season and see how much positive momentum we have on the recruiting trail. Kids are understandably emotional, it is the biggest decision of their lives. Coach Richt and his staff have shown these kids stability. We have a coach that has the support of his admin, alumni, the fans and most importantly his players. Look at Florida and FSU. All the turmoil around those programs is what we use to deal with on a yearly basis. We were an easy target for negative recruiting. The longer we keep this staff together the stronger we will recruit. Securing Williams is just the start. I think we close really strong. Great time to be a Canes fan.

Going to be interesting Ohio St was on him before we were. Not going to Auburn after his visit there. Hopefully we pull this off

I played pop warner in the Grove with Q. Frierson who played LB Rutgers. He's half brothers with Denzel Perryman.... long story short both families are huge Cane fans, Gil will be a Cane.

On the same WestGrove Redskin team we had Frank Gore and Roscoe Parrish, in addition to a guy that played DB at Syracuse.

No offense to the kid but turning down a free trip to the Iron Bowl? That's a bucket list sporting event right there.

Maybe for a dentist looking to do a case study
