Jarren Williams

Jarren is no longer visiting AU this weekend for Iron Bowl. With him enrolling early, I expect a decision anytime now.

Nice.

Where'd you read this?

Steve Wiltfong 247

link? only thing I see is from Irvins that he may cancel his visit

never mind. i don't see Wilfong' s post but the Auburn staff writer has a recruits lists up for the Iron Bowl and Jarrens name is not on it. someone asked him in the comments about Jarren and the staff writer, Keith Niebuhr, said "Am told it's not happening."

Gilbert Frierson took an surprise OV to Georgia this past weekend but people in Miami aren’t that worried. Jobe will be visiting Michigan this weekend for their game against OSU, Miami believes Bama is still the biggest threat to flip Jobe. Jobe will be visiting us the weekend of Dec 15th. Miami is about to turn the heat up on Jared Goldwire to push for a flip from Louisville. Chatfield was at the game against Virginia this weekend he also brought his mom with him.

Did not know it was a surprise visit, and didn't like the fact that he took his Mom. Don't see any reason to take your Mom unless you are trying to convince her to sign-off on you going there. Especially considering his Mom is ultra pro-Miami.

That said, he's seemed a lot more solid lately than he did a few months back when he was visiting UGA almost every other weekend.

Read it again. No mention of Gil's mom. Chatfield's Mom was at our win over UVA

His Mom was on the visit. She was in a picture with Gil and Kirby that was posted on Twitter.

Yep...saw that too. Definitely something to keep an eye on.

Listen to pete, listen to his interview on the podcast from this Last week with Gilbert

It also helps that at the Nike camp his teammates were mostly Miami commits and that he got to see them during his official visit.

Wow, hats off to the Richts for out recruiting Urb and Gus/Ohio state and Auburn/Big10 and SEC for an Elite 11 qb that we only got involved with a couple weeks ago. They realized Sits wasn't the answer, identified a new target, secured the first visit and its seems like they maintained the momentum. A few years back, had we lost a commitment (even from someone as clearly flawed as Sits) we would have been scrambling to sign a Div 2 type of recruit. With Richt at the helm and the team winning on the big stage, there isn't a school in nation we should fear on the recruiting trail. Can't wait to see how this class finishes.

Golden couldn't keep Bridgewater when we fired Shannon

I just hope UF doesn't go all out for Williams if they hire Chip or Frost because he is a perfect fit for what they want to do as well.

You got to chill, he even mentioned to pete that he would take some official visits, regardless he’s coming here

What am I not chilled about Broke?

A team going all out for you doesn't necessarily mean anything. The kid has been retweeting canes things. He likes us. Some random team having a horrible year going all out for him doesn't mean he'll go there. When I was applying to colleges I got tons of letters from Tulane begging me to go there on a full ride. I never even applied there. I got into the U with a partial scholarship and the game was over. Tulane is ranked slightly higher than the U in education, but no way in **** would I pick it over the U.

That's right. Golden couldn't keep Bridgewater. He messed things up with Amari Cooper too. We missed out on having an elite set of South Florida triplets because of that moron. Bridgewater, Duke Johnson & Cooper.

Well said zanecane. Getting Williams was a great move by coach Richt. He was able to drop a 4* QB in November & get in on another one. One that was already committed to one SEC school & was talking to Ohio State & Auburn. He has made it clear to the rest of college football that Miami has a new coach & this one isn't afraid of Meyer or the SEC.

We're not scared of UF, so who cares if they go all out for him.

Nice try though

To the guy asking who was better between him and Perry, it depends on what you are looking for. Perry is the better passer and Williams the better runner. Both seem to keep their eyes downfield when on the move, Williams though takes off quicker. Perry will have more time in the system so he will have an edge. I'm happy with them both and who knows, Weldon may surprise us all.
