Curious quote. I would be interested in knowing why he isn't supposed to be here. Never thought he'd make it? Never thought he'd get to college? Never thought he'd get to be a Cane? In any event, going to the next level is always exciting and nerve wracking.

Dude chill with the over thinking on everything. All that is saying he's grateful for everything that's happening for him after being beating the odds as a black young male in Miami and getting a scholarship to play football and not becoming a statistic

Not overthinking anything. Just expressing curiosity. I'm not going to assume that I know what the young man is thinking.

Bandy is clearly a leader who understands how blessed he is and what a privilege it is to have a full ride to a marquee program and institution like UM. He's not one of these local cvnts who thinks UM owes him a scholarship and that if we don't offer before everyone else it's some sort of slap in the face.

I say stock price isn't relevant because one doesn't trade in the US and one does. Not a common denominator for comparison.

I'm gonna guess you don't work in finance.

I'm an accountant. Second major was Finance.

Then that makes your answer even stranger.

I'm interested to see why you say that.

I'm not a sneakerhead at all, so I don't have a dog in this fight.

But one stock has risen 76% and one has essentially flatlined TTM.

Which company would you say is currently performing better?

Gratitude is an underrated trait. Not enough have it...

I see your point and I'll be honest I didn't know the numbers. But I do have a few counter premises:

Adidas is currently performing better. But that rise could be because it was so far behind not only Nike, but had also been surpassed by UA in market share in 2015. So it had so much ground to make up to catch the 2 whereas Nike has plateaued and growth for them is marginal. Adidas either disappears or went up.

Second, adidas rose in a different stock market. I'm not saying for certain, but it is possible that growing that much in that market was easier than if it had to do that on our stock market.

Just a couple possible alternatives that I was thinking of.

Not much to overthink here whatsoever. Kid always wanted to be a Can and for a good part of the year, the staff didnt think he belonged til they finally offered. Now his dream has come true and not only did he deserve an offer, we are lucky to have a talent like him.
