James Williams question

I get where you are coming from here. But the biggest hurdle is always those that surround some of these kids. Can they see past their immediate "needs" and take the best interests of the kid to heart? Especially in this situation. IDK It has seemed to me that Williams himself would like to be a Cane but his "guardian" or whatever you want to call him is looking elsewhere for other things. Maybe Miami can do enough to make everyone happy....

wrote Avantae off, too. And we played it smart with getting Harrell, Balom in hand first.

Like that situation, getting Chase Smith in hand to play a similar role would be smart.

Saying it’s a back-up plan probably isn’t doing Smith justice.

Miami... a sunny place for shady people. Problem is, then you get guys like Nevin Shapiro. The guys funding this stuff in the SEC are OLD money and do not want to be in the news, hanging with players, or associated with this stuff in any way. They just want their football teams to win.

The guardian i know is a cane fan.

Exactly i want Chase Smith regardless...on top of it he is a legacy recruit...manny has connections having coached his current coachj...**** everything points toward us...and Smith is an athlete just like JW where he plays offense and wr.

Definitely! His ball skills are SICK and the kid covers a ton of space. Outside of 30-40 pounds and a lot more hype, he's not far from Williams in a player. I'm a fan in the middle of KS, so my take is limited.
 
I get everyone thinks it’s a lock but my thing is if it was over especially with the current circumstances why not commit now. Even if you look on UGA board their wondering why he’s not committed now. Let the season play out we win him and taylor in my opinion will come. **** even tonight if we not in the top 2 I’m not writing it off because then UGA staff and more wont be as focused on us. They way we move in recruiting doesn’t always have to be broadcasted as we seen with some of the secret visits we did last year

He's driving up the price thats all.

As long as Bama and UGA compete for him at the auction block, the sweeter the deal he'll inherit.

That’s fine let them battle it out. Remember last year everyone said the same thing with Avantae. We put the press on Chase Smith(who we prolly lead for) let the Williams situation play out. If we take care of what we gotta take care of we’ll be good.
