If I’m a kid, I’m not staying home to play for 6-7, 7-6 Miami with inept coaches. I’m getting paid and getting developed properly. That’s the cold hard truth. Rumors are Tyrique Stevenson got paid 65-75k to go to UGA. He and family don’t have to worry about bills for 3-4 years, then he gets the big money in the NFL. Who turns that down for Miami?

They better pay me to stay home too facts.....your post is true but alot of fans don't want to see. Wins doesn't change a think cause if we win I'm still taking the money and no rent.....live free.

We just aren't good at it.....he gets more when he signs and I guess the family moves as well and those elite schools offer jobs. So your basically set for life even if he doesn't make it pro.

Definitely ain’t getting set for life money if he doesn’t make the pros. That is not how this game works at all.

scott is now a special teams coach and not strength coach, if he was an asset on the field Saban would have paid for him to stay. Dude is a crazy SC coach who hasn’t been apart of Williams recruitment in 3 years and now during a quarantine and being on the job 4 months he’s going to land him 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👀. Dude has nothing to do with landing Him, it’s bags and other coaches

I think they think the job to family members are possibly permanent and probably show examples of it. They will say look this so and so player has his family still working here blah blah blah

Again, not life changing money. Bet you find way more examples of kids who they didn’t keep these promises too. One of them may have even transferred to Miami because a certain school didn’t keep promises.

Maybe I’m being naive, but I don’t see it like that.

This is a kid who has switched schools four times in four years. It would shock me if this one is a smooth ride for UGA, even with the payments.

If Miami wins and continues to build the relationship, they have a chance. Banda landed Avantae without even winning.

Exactly, alot of these kids (Williams, Taylor, Yulkeith, etc.) want to be at Miami. We just haven't shown them a reason on the field to come the past two years.

Win and we start to win these recruiting battles, its that simple

Manny gotta figure it out. We have casinos and all kinds of shady investment firms down here. Either start playing the game or continue to see these high end prospects leave town. We'll always get our share, but I'd like to just clean up cycle after cycle.

That could be true but u know how visits go they never show the ugly side....and by the misses we have had for alot of years says they have been more successful at tricking these kids and I'm sure have helped some as well. They won't show the ones who never worked out

He would be all over the place for me. I'd use him the way I used Phillip O'Brien once he moved to Safety.
He played high Safety (middle 3rd), low Safety (flats), played in the box, blitzed off the edge, blitzed the B-gap, played man on slots, played man on TE's, played over the top, robbed the opposite side of the field, etc etc etc.

IMO 2-high structures generally don't provide a lot of diversified uses for Safeties though. Single-high structures give you more flexibility with your Safeties.

To have a guy like Williams simply playing over the top all game is a travesty IMO.

I see what ur saying and I believe Williams truly wants to be at Miami but UGA is offering so much. I mean if ur a 17 year old kid getting what is getting offered to him and his family. Idk his family situation but I’ll say this if mine was in bad shape and I was him my love for the canes May have to come second and take care the fam man. I’ll never fault them for taking a bag get it while u can

Thats part of the problem, too many family members looking to change their life and circumstances through a HS kid.

The kid didnt make it here by himself but it's his god given talent and his life.
Let him enjoy it and make his own decisions.
