James Cook 2019 RB (Dalvin Cook little brother) Miami Centra

Dalvin is so good because he has world class speed

James Cook FL RB 19 5-10 164 4.91 4.78 31.0 25.7 49.68

He may get faster but he will never have world class speed if he's running a 4.91 going into his second year of high school. My guess is that he will have a hard time being one of the top 5 RB's in Florida coming out his senior year so I'd rather Miami went after other, better RB's. Just my 2cents

Are those his 8th grade numbers? He was just measured 18lbs heavier and .17 seconds faster....

Well this story has room for the "sour grapes" crew AND the "reality of the situation" crew..

For the "sour grapes" crew I say...You are right, he wont be better then Dalvin. That just is what it is. If he is better, then he not only will be the best back in Fla but in all the **** country. Because Dalvin was a 5* and was a top 3 RB in the country...I think only Fournette and Chubb were ahead of him.. Ive seen the kid play, odds are he wont be at that elite level.

For the "reality of the situation" crew...he will be a top 3 back in the state easily so it will be tough to lose him. But the last position I am worried about when it comes to Richt and TBrown is RB. They have proven NUMEROUS times that they know how to recruit that position and recruit it at an elite level.

I don't care who is committed to where...2019 Miami needs to throw the kitchen sink at all 3 RB's who exposed themselves...

Nayquan Wright, James Cook, then find out wtf happened to Flex Joseph because he was just as good, but didn't get as much recognition

Once u got the brother j most likely get the other if your teams still winning. Think about it if i grow up poor as *** a die hard miami lean but jimbo paying my moms bills imma go there period

We lost him when we lost Dalvin. There's nothing Richt could do about this one.

Here's what I don't get, he's in 9th grade ! How bout we use our time talking about a 2017 or 2018 prospect instead of a kid who's four years away from playing CFB

nah, the only kid who was on their level was Darren Davis Jr and even then it was Nayquan> Cook>> Davis just like it is now.

Some people put Flex over all of them: TOP 100 PLAYERS PROSPECTS ALL AMERICAN 2019 LIST SCOUTS RIVALS 24/7 MIDDLE SCHOOL
To be fair, that was their 7th grade year but can't ignore what he was doing at that point. As per the website, he was running a 4.61 as a 7th grader got to imagine its at least a 4.55 or 4.5 right now

IF cook does reclassify to 2018, I'm cool with that. Lorenzo Lingard is out there and he's a cot**** monster. FSU is favored, maybe Cook will make him seek a more open depth chart

I don't know who did that list but those numbers are way off. Flex was not 5'8 155lbs in 7th grade lol. Even if I didn't know first hand how small kid was his measurements at the sparq that year were 5.1'5 and 124lbs and that forty time is just as ridiculous. Kid is/was to small to be an elite RB past the optimist days. The advantage Cook and Wright had is the played up and even then they were borderline for skill player weight limits.

Cook looks plenty fast where it matters, on film. One of the writers here went off on the numbers posted at this camp.

being committed early hurts the school they are committed to. FSU is only going to get negatively recruited for the next 3 years and he will have all the best school in the nation telling him why fspoo is a horrible school.

Lol stop it bro

Im sorry u cabt be negative ly recruited when u won a title recently and u thumpin out first rounders. It shows u can win and get to the league, fsu recruits itself the minute jimbo took over u saw the caliber of athlete going there. It was a matfer of time becore they won
