Jamel Cook

If dropping Davis and going hard after Pie (with Bruce's help) gets us Cook, I'm all in.

Pie not even giving Miami a visit, I think its been said a lot that he wants to leave Miami even after saying it would come down to Miami and Michigan, all parties involved don't want each other.

We can offer Pie at CB, doesn't look like we'll get any of our targets so he can replace Deion when we find out he got dropped or did not qualify.

Henry Miller is probably coming. Love him as a prospect.

Looks very good for Romeo Finley as well.

Hoping the DB class is Byrd, Young, Finley, and Miller.

Pie isn't coming here. His offer at FSU isn't committable. He should stop playing before Michigan doesn't take him, either.

Seems like Michigan is out of room for Pie and has moved on from him. This based on Twitter reactions between him and Bush...but who really knows.

They still want Gary & Fuller and will probably only take Pie if Crawford or Nate flip, good chance Pie ends up at Louisville lol.

His game ain't that special. I hope he ends up at FSU. I wouldn't mind seeing him for a few years in a row...

And so it begins...same dude would be calling him the "next Sean Taylor" if it had gone our way.

Your freakin crazy there cowgirl... Look at any of his film, game or events. He is constantly getting toasted. His best outing was at the Allstar game and to me he sucked there too. He had to play all the WR's 10 yards off the ball in order to keep them in front of him. FSU would be doing us a favor to take him. The kid most likely projects as an Lb during his Junior year. I don't see him getting on the field at FSU anytime before then. If he is serious about playing soon, he better not go to FSU.

Is that clear enough cowgirl...?

Cook is the type of athlete that every team wants so I mean i want him purely for that fact also I am fine with any DBs we get last this cycle I like miller and finley i want both GO CANES

I have to agree w/ Canefam. He has great size, potential...but during that All-Star game going against other elite talent, he was roasted like a marshallow during a camp fire. It wasn't just once, either...it was all game. He reminds of Taylor Mays. Hard hitter...great size, freaky athleticism, but what was evident that when Taylor played against other top notch talent, he was exposed. That carried over to USC and now he's constantly getting bounced around the league.

I think Cook is good, but the Army All Star Game gave me a lot of pause. He was out of position a lot, and was getting smoked. That's not bashing a kid b/c he didn't choose UM...I would say the same thing if he did have us in his top 2.

FSU does NOT want to F up that Central connection by pulling his schoolie like they've done a bunch of times with other recruits and schools... They are simply dragging their feet and giving him all kinds of opportunity to look elsewhere. However, the kid doesn't want to budge because he truly loves the school. It's kind of sad. He may very well end up at USC because he wants "playing time", yeah, right... Its because they squeezed him out.

If you can't coach up an athlete like Jamel Cook to be a productive football player somewhere on the field, gtfooh

Yall crazy for saying cook is overrated that boy is a ball hawk that can cover the hole field and when he put on more weight hes gonna feel more comfortable. In run support
