Jamel Cook

How do you reconcile this post with the post you made yesterday that I have quoted below? How the **** could he have been avoiding Miami "like the plague" if he was "very close to committing to Miami at certain points in time"?

He was close to committing during the summer on a visit to Miami. Things are fluid in recruiting and change over time. Kids change their mind very quick, I am sure you know this over years of following recruiting.

His mother works on campus. Multiple people involved with Central told me that he wanted to get away because she is strict with him.

He's not exactly a lock to pick FSU at this point in time either.
Oh I see. The "things are fluid in recruiting" line when nothing makes sense. That's the catch-all.

You are a sad, strange little man...and you have my pity

Attack the post not the poster, kuntface. That's your one warning.

Dude...how could you not be a toy story fan?

247 update:
MIAMI, Fla. - Florida State athlete commit Jamel Cook (Miami/Central) said his decision, which will be made on National Signing Day, has come down to FSU and USC.

"They both feel like home. They both feel like Miami period. That's what I want," Cook said. "The biggest problem I'm seeing is who is going to play as a true freshman, who is going to start as a true freshman? Who is going to give me the chance to get on the field?"

Cook officially visited Florida State this past weekend.

"The best thing was I like the campus and I like the players," Cook said of Florida state. "They treat me like family. I have a good communication there."

Cook said he plans to visit USC this weekend.

USC ace recruiter Tee Martin met with him this morning at his school.

"That went great. Good school, good campus from he's telling me. I'm going to go up there and see how it is," Cook said of USC.

Cook officially visited Louisville January 16.

"It felt like home too. It was cold. It was 15 degrees. I can't go out there and wear short-sleeved shirts," Cook said of Louisville.

Cook hopes to play his college ball with three-star athlete Keyshawn Young (Miami/Senior).

Young, who goes by the nickname 'Pie,' took the Louisville and FSU official visits with him.

"Me and Keyshawn have a good connection. We have been friend since sixth grade in AAU basketball," Cook said. "Now we are just taking all of our visits together and seeing where it goes."

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 2 athlete and the No. 16 prospect in Florida in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.

I see a Bryant McFadden experience ahead of this young man. Gonna be fun watching the Canes beat FSU for the next few years.

Go Canes!

Only Miami feels like Miami. And his best chance to start is at Miami. Odd comment.

This kid has a long ways to go (footwork, run vs pass reads, coverage) if he's going to stick it out as a DB @ the next level.

He's talking about playing as a freshman, but he needs to be focused on special teams!

Let him go, spend more time recruiting someone else!

Louisville felt like home too. It was 15 degrees and felt like Miami to him. Seems like everywhere feels like home to him except his home. Is he kin to Robert Downey Jr.?

His game ain't that special. I hope he ends up at FSU. I wouldn't mind seeing him for a few years in a row...

And so it begins...same dude would be calling him the "next Sean Taylor" if it had gone our way.

If anybody would say they would be completely wrong, Cook has upside but he's bad in space and isn't as physical as you would expect someone his size. If someone can coach can get him to buy in he could be special. Sean Taylor was always that *****.
