Jamarcus Chatman

We wouldn’t be out here getting a Texas commit to do an OV if we had Chatman and Briggs in the bag. This staff is going after all of them and seeing where the chips fall come NSD.
They was already working on him since December and was tentatively scheduled this weekend regardless

To his credit, I don’t think he is trolling just one of “those” guys. He appears to have a relationship with some of our recruits and we get the last visit. We have a good chance here.

Meanwhile our CB coach backup plan at CB is a player that looks like a sure fire jag day 1.
Wasn’t Diaz and Banda who really liked bethel after the camp in the summer?...
If we are I doubt We would be in the game for Surtain Jr without rumph. Remember he’s the one who got him to visit last week and been working that recruitment even when hope seemed bleak

Staff keeps the foot on the pedal. Manny and the new DL recruiting savant, Patke, in homed with Chatman tonight, right before his OV. Ruthless

Allen Bailey was a physical freak and has length that is probably in the 90th+ percentile of the NFL. He also had the versatility to literally play several spots on the DL if it boils down to it. SDE in 4-3, 1T, 3T, and 5T in a 3-4 if you asked him too. Jamarcus looks somewhat sawed off and closed to maxed out physically and is a 3T and not sure he could be effective in any other role. He is listed at 6'2 260 so he is probably 6'1 and will peak at 280-290 which screams 3T.
I don't think the Bailey comparison is a good comparison strictly from a physical standpoint. Bailey was a freak of nature, he played RB and LB in HS. Yeah it was against scrubs, but he still lined up and did it and dominated and didn't look out of place whatsoever. Chatman couldn't do that, lol.

I wasn’t comparing them physically nor do I care to. He can play inside and outside and has great athleticism even though he’s not Allen. He’s the closest guy that’s comparable.

Allen Bailey grew from linebacker to defensive tackle while in college. Freak athlete - nothing like Chatnan.

Then who else is comparable? He’s not McDougle or Green, definitely not Olivier, and not Matt Walters. That leaves Andrew Williams and I don’t think he plays like him either.

He’s a lot more similar to RJ McIntosh than Allen Bailey. And he’s not as physically impressive as McIntosh.
