Jalen Brown

I’m shocked lol.
I think he’d be an elite CB. He could be what the kid who shall not be named that was once committed to us and went on to be a R1 pick at CB was on the college level. I’m not surprised to hear a kid who is being courted by everyone else to play WR, isn’t crazy about switching full time to a position that he doesn’t play much of, if any at all, in HS. That’s not me saying we are doing anything wrong, but you saying that doesn’t surprise me. Oh well, accepted a long time ago he wouldn’t sign with us so whatever.
Also WR has become one of the glamor positions, seems like more and more go in the first round every year and they’re up there with QB and big uglies in terms of the recruiting arms race. So whereas you used to be able to tell a kid like this “you could be a pro receiver but you could be a RICH corner”…not sure that holds up anymore with these kids.

Yeah it definitely doesn’t lol. WRs are getting PAID paid.

Same people that say Anthony Schwartz couldn’t play probably say the same about jalen brown and Schwartz ended up being drafted in what the 3rd round and meanwhile we haven’t had a receiver drafted higher than that since 2015 with Dorsett
How about the 50 other guys with speed that can't catch a cold that we passed on? We took higher rated receivers and they turned into **** ... get over it.

Anyone saying they wouldn't take this kid is full of ****e. Again, LSU is a blue blood, top program. It would have to get really bad like less than 4 wins bad for it to have a massive impact on them. They did look awful vs FSU but they are so talented that they will win some games for sure.
They are also young . It’s not an excuse but im
Just saying. Kelly is a **** but he will win there

If you watched the game you understand what OP is talking about. The offense is *** and with two superstar WRs (that they can't get the ball to).
I did watch it and they did look poor. But Daniels is a solid QB. I bet they bounce back.

We haven't told him we don't want him as a reciever. He would certainly get the chance to play it. But Mario doesn't pull punches. He's straight up with kids and they families. He's expressed to him the vision for him as potentially playing both sides of the ball but also acknowledged we really like him as a db.

Missed CIS’s 8th worst member. Argues to argue just like that bítch you took to wing stop.

You’re militant as **** but I respect it.
Ain’t no argument to be had..if Brown wanted in all the mofos saying no would happily take the commitment..some of y’all in your feels about kid picking LSU just like the chick who had to pay for her lemon pepper wings

A team with speed issues at WR, turning down a guy who is considered THE speed guy in the area doesnt make sense to me. Isnt that why we are after CJ Jr? His highlights nor his stats are anything to brag about but we offered him because buddy is a speed demon at a position that we need an infusion of speed. I dont know what happened here but im hoping we arent sending this kid to VM if he gives us a buzz.

So is the rumor about him being soft and not wanting to be physical not true? Asking because if he does end up on defense, would he potentially shy away from contact and tackles?

Was thinking the same exact thing. If hes soft, frail, doesnt like to "mix it up"..why would we want him at CB?
Yea. I think they are just trying to get him on the team by any means possible. Team Speed still needs an upgrade. Admittedly, I haven't watched much film on him to see how he even performs on D. Kind of a lazy question to Dee by me. lol

One bad week for LSU doesn’t matter in recruiting
Yes, but 5-6 more could. They may lose 6-7 conference games. They play Miss St. at home for their conference opener. That's likely a win.

Then they play Auburn, @Tennessee, @FLorida, and Ole Miss. Maybe 2-3 SEC record at this point.

They'll get embarrassed by Alabama and then lose @Arkansas the next week, and then @AtM to finish out conference play with a 2-6 record.

LSU will finish the season 5-7.

Please give the Innis talk a rest. Dude is Knee deep in Suckeye. An if Brown wants back in great but not gonna worry if he doesn't.
No way I see that happening. I know Mario is a great recruiter and all. But pulling both Innis and Fletch is about as ridiculous as it gets.

Speed is great, but not a natural catcher. Also he’s frail at this stage. People need to take their O&G glasses off.

People also need to take off their "Composite Ranking" glasses. Just because Jalen is a 5-star doesn't mean he is what we want/need at that position.

Ridiculous and ludicrous.

But...
