Coaching Jahmile Addae gone

Sean McDermott is probably one of the best defensive minds in football right now, him hiring Addae as CB coach should have been a big sign to us. It’s pretty clear that Addae was masking a lot of Guidry issues as a play caller last year.

Masking what? Our Dbs were just as bad except Kam and even James Williams just didn't miss too many tackles...

Huh?

Miami lost 3 defensive backs to the nfl and addea sucked at recruiting. He belongs in the NFL.

Brown being injured doesn’t help but some of Miamis issues are 100% addea fault. What a weird post

Addae couldn't recruit worth a lick, and is utterly useless on any CFB staff.

The difference between last year DBs and this year has been massive. They were coached far better last year

When he was here I left hints all over the place about him and his recruiting. Dude acted like he was too cool to recruit , he also rubbed local coaches and players wrong. Our cb roster is in the shape it is now because of his ***.

He’s the Gattis of the defense. Getting credit for other people’s work. That said, Cristobal made another mediocre hire in Jackson. Ridiculous that the best DB recruiter in cfb, Raymond, was actually available in November and Cristobal passed on him and hired Jackson in January. Don’t know if there is some bad blood between Cristobal and Raymond, but if there is Cristobal should have swallowed his pride and hired the best man for the job.

Powell and Porter played a ton of football. Our DBs were just better coached with Addae, if Sean McDermott thinks you are good enough to coach his CBs you must be doing something right. Yes he was a garbage recruiter but he was at least a quality coach. I have never seen Miami secondary this bad, they make mediocre QBs look special and this didn’t start until Jackson was hired.
