Jaden Rashada

Dawson has completely confused me on Emory. There was no complete trust in him as Dawson gave him the same basic short screen passes he did as a freshman. In the 4th quarter, Emory was forced into downfield passing and looked uncomfortable. How was that kid not ready after 2 years in the program? The passing plays didn't make sense. This is on Dawson as much as it is Emory.
this is the funny part of our fanbase.

Dawson and mario the last two years have been in the portal streets like a crack ***** for a qb and we have ppl that believe he has trust in Emory.

Look at what they do and not what they say. They have been coy not to kill dude in the media but he has never been about Emory like that..Emory was supposed to be the #2 qb in his class. His ceiling is our #2....so I dont even take it serious.

You made contradiction. You said you didn't think Luke's performance will impact the room, but then go on to say if Luke wins QB2, Emory and/or Judd likely transfer. That would be a big impact, which is exactly what I said. Am I missing something?

Nope. Not missing anything. I should have worded that a bit differently.

I can see one of Emory / Judd leaving regardless of the backup QB battle.

Gotta think the coaches will be more guarded in their praise of Emory after that bowl game.

Looking back, however good Emory looked in practice was less about him and MUCH MUCH more about how awful our defense was and that’s based off what we saw of the 1st stringers.

Think Nickel is going to be given every opportunity to take the QB2 and get some snaps in 25. He starts in 26 and Coleman shirts. Judd or Emory serves as the backup. That’s got to be the ideal plan.

If not, we are going to walk ourselves into a corner where we have to go portal shopping again and then who knows what happens.

Really wish we would have made a run at Air Noland to have him compete with Luke, instead of going through this again next year.

I like Air better than the Sayin kid. SC made a good move there

That’s a strong take on Noland over Sayin. Sayin was the last QB Saban handpicked and he will be starting at OSU this year. His HS film is elite and he has all the tools to be a first round QB. I liked Noland too coming out but no way he has a better college career than Sayin. Time will tell though.

Did you watch the OSU spring game?

Is that the one where he went 5-7 for 47 yards and an int? Noland
yessir. But, did you actually watch both of them in the game? not just read the stat lines...

I watched them because we were actually making a hard run at Sayin to potentially transfer here. And although the stats didn't look good for either, Air looked way better

We have enough game film to know Emory is not a gamechanger at Miami. Just doesn't have it.

Before someone comes running to tell me about the Clemson game, it doesn't take much to throw 30 yard 50/50 balls to Colby Young etc. He has yet to show he can go thru progressions and move the chains/create explosives. If they aren't being called in the game it's because he isn't doing it in practice.
