And then a few years of is it Kirby, Jacory or Marve?

Amazing, crazy that it’s already been dang near 15 years since the time for the pimp glass show.
It was Marve, and Shannon wouldn’t let him go to Florida (and a number of other schools) because concerns that the Gators had tampered. And then in later that summer the other two sophomore quarterbacks left as well, leaving Miami with just Jacory Harris to enter the 2009 season. We had to convert AJ Highsmith back to quarterback to have a backup that season.

Wow that's right!! I forgot about all of that. So did we only have 1 true QB for that whole season? Robert Marve fall begin from over there. I really thought he would do well at his 2nd stop but nah I barely remember him at Purdue

it was Jacory and AJ…and that’s it (aside from any walk ons). We lost three of our four quarterbacks from the 2008 season to transfers.

Maeve’s odyssey at Purdue was impressive; he kept getting injured and kept coming back. Three weeks after tearing his ACL in the 2012 season he came back and played the remainder of the season with a knee brace.

I didn't know Medical redshirts doesn't count as a redshirt for a freshman. I always thought if a true freshman got injured they were just automatically redshirt. Confusing stuff but that explains why he has 4 years left.
We have Professor McCormick on the roster (or did).

They need a collective bargaining agreement.

Or we end up with this in 10-12 years:

1) No eligibility limits. We’ll have numerous players on the field for 6,7,10, or even 12 years

2) No scholarship limits. We’ll be back to the days of a few colleges with extremely high NIL hoarding hundreds of players

Both rules are as arbitrary - particular the first one - as the requirement that was legally struck down that made a player sit out a year after transferring.
Man, cam McCormick was just getting ahead of the future

You're forgetting Stephen Morris & Spencer Whipple. Whipple had to come in for Jacory when UVA knocked Jacory out of the game that season. Whipple looked terrible and He got replaced by Morris.

Youre right - we had Spencer for 2009 forward, but I’m not sure if he had to sit out that year as a transfer. Morris didn’t come in until 2010.

Poster child for when NIL goes wrong. Who would have thought a $13 million offer to play football would be the first domino
He lost the supposed 9 mil Miami offered... Not sure if that number is correct but I guarantee he didn't anything close to that anywhere else...

Covington was so laid back. Football was not at the top of his list. If he was as interested as Clement he would have beat him out in a heartbeat.

Covington was the first Cane QB I really remember, I was born in 86, so didn’t really start to pay attention until about 96

Nah, I think that there are logical and plausible reasons for each move:

1) Miami to Florida - Receives an unprecedented offer that most college players would have flipped for

2) Florida to ASU - Florida reneges on the offer just before NSD, leaving Jaden out in the cold. Jumps to Arizona State (I think that there were pre Miami connections there). Plays in three games and is injured, gets medical redshirt. Reportedly had no NIL deal at ASU.

3) ASU to GA - Makes sense. Gets an offer to jump to SEC leader Georgia. Is third string and redshirts.

4) GA to ? - Does not win the backup role to Carson Beck and falls behind true freshman (4 star player) Ryan Puglisi. He’s looking at sitting for two more seasons before he and Puglisi can battle it out for the 2027 starting job.

So what's logical and plausible about the move from Georgia?
