He's gone from "maybe there needs to be a mutual parting of ways" at the end of last season to "he might sneak onto an NFL roster".

And people say nobody is being developed.

He was more productive last year. The addition of Sam Brown has lowered his targets. JG has the most talent of all three starters. Just doesn’t get the targets. I was surprised they featured him early against Wake. He shows up against any team any conference when he’s given the opportunity.

I just want to give another shoutout to JG. When all the Miami Mustangs left he stood strong and got developed and has turned in to a **** of a football player. He gets overshadowed by X and I get it but he deserves so much more credit than he has gotten this year. What he has done to work on himself and the way he goes all out for his teammates is amazing.
