Jacolby George catches a lot of heat for his temper and bone headed penalties, but no one questions his effort. His unselfish blocking for teammates on long TD runs really needs to be highlighted/commended.

Talked some smack too after the play.

I know there are more clips but these two are all I could find right now.

I love the way he plays i remember when he came in i was saying he would end up the best out that class! Dudes a baller. Is he leaugue worthy!?

The problem is that he almost got a penalty on that last X reception. No need to excessively taunt in that spot. I want us to have fun and swag, but Jacolby is a liability at times out there.

He can be maddeningly frustrating and usually the bonehead moments come when we are not playing well as a team so he's an easy target.

But i wish all our players have a chip on their shoulder like George and gave his effort.

Also good for him to be trying to contain the emotion and channel it.

This is the part that either people don't appreciate or just don't give a **** about.

The man wants to win, ball & talk ****. In that order. ****, he's a fan on the field & still acts more composed than alot of the crybabies on here most of the time.

He's emotionally uneven but he produces & plays his *** off. I accept all that he is & am not gonna just harp on the bad or overpraise the good.

He's a good player for us. He ***** up sometimes. I'm glad he's on our team.

He also recovered B Smith's fumble for TD with the same type of hustle in the Clemson game last year.

Another case in point, interesting decision here, avoids the clip and sorta confuses the defender, dude was like who's tapping on my jersey and forgot about Lyle. Results in another 25 yards for Lyle and then he takes out a second defender.

Hate him if you must, but he has grit and the best acceleration on the team. Wish we had 22 players with his heart

I think he’ll play next level. He has good hands, he’s a good runner with the ball, and he is probably the best punt returner on the roster.
Has he played punt returner before? He can't be any worse than Ray Ray. That guy costs us field position on majority of punts. Why even have a return guy back there if he's not going to attempt to field the punt.

Yes and he was pretty good until the fumble last year vs tamu and they never let him return one since. Wouldn't mind seeing him or X get a shot but none were really returnable today.

I think a lot of people forget he was also on his way out here two years ago

He’s come a long way and it’s probably difficult to play receiver in this offense knowing we have so many weapons to stay engaged all the time

But he’s been awesome

Nah.

If you want to see a Hurricane who could be considered a liability - go watch the 1991 Cotton Bowl and then tell me WHO was a liability.

Looked like Custer's Last Stand - and what happens today look like a Diddy Party at 10:00 AM.

The only UM person out there NOT a real liability - was the volunteer team Chaplain - and he stayed on the bus the entire game to avoid hearing words he'd never heard before.

And STILL had to un-volunteer after the game. (the trip back to Miami STILL learned some new words and phrases)

Listen, I remember watching that game in person. I don’t need to be reminded of our swagger.

That particular play with George was not smart. Restrepo was crossing the goal line while Jacolby decided to block some dude in the back 10 yards behind the play. That was dumb.

I’m a huge Jacolby George fan. He was my favorite receiver before X really started to turn it on last year. He has a habit of doing dumb ****. He needs to check that for the betterment of the team.

We are not the 1990 Hurricanes. That team would wipe their *** with this one. They earned the right to act the way they did in the 91 Cotton Bowl. Being a donkey in a too close for comfort ACC game is not the same thing my dude.

He certainly gives great effort downfield, going back to the Clemson game last year on the long run by Brashard Smith.

But please please please stop throwing bubble screens to his side, he gets blown up every time

I'm going to miss George. Him and X really turned that WR room around after that disaster 2022 season
