I’m pretty sure Mario got all over JG for spinning the ball after the TD catch. At least that is how it looked when they were together right after that play.

But let’s not pretend that most of the trash talking on Friday was from the UM guys. VTech was taunting our guys all game and the refs seemed not to care.

Mario was furious. They panned his face multiple times after that and showed him "speaking" to JG

I agree with whoever said he is the least of our worries this year. I don't like the penalty after the TD catch, but that should still be automatic with our K.

However, he isn't the same bad attitude guy he was last year to this point. He plays with a chip and an edge. Wish more played like that.

I don’t know if anyone noticed, right before the half we were trying to get one more play off and Cam literally had to pull him away cause he was talking trash to a VT player. We ran out of time and had to call a timeout. Luckily it was the right decision as we made the field goal but it could’ve been costly.

No you are correct. Mario next time he does needs to sit him for at least a half. Tell him it the team or the bench. Mario brags about player leadership. The team leaders should take care of as well.

Let’s not continually **** all over our kids. Anyone that’s played the game knows there’s a lot of crap that goes on out there. He’s done a decent job of keeping his emotions in check and is playing injured. Could it be better….yes. He has taken steps in a positive direction.

At the end of the day, the kid just wants to contribute and win and I support him!

I think the OP might be referring to: I was at the game and stayed for a good 30 minutes after it ended. While the rest of the players were singing the alma matter by the band area, George went after a much bigger VT player near the entrance to VT's locker room. He was clearly picking a fight, another Cane player had to pull him away and take him to our locker room. He was beyond out of control.

He's talented but I don't trust him out there, bottom line. Penalties hurt us. Drops hurt us. Giving up INT's hurts us. He's too old to not be more dialed in than he is.

He needs to do better. If Alabama can have a 17 year old looking like the best WR in America, and if Ohio State can have J Smith looking like a superstar this time of year, then why can't JoJo get some of George's snaps when George keeps ******* up and hurting the team?
