Well, he was going to commit to Miami over the weekend, so the fact that Oregon stopped that and got him to schedule a visit is definitely a worry. It's recruiting and crap changes in minutes. Now it's a couple more weeks until he commits, off of Oregon's visit. That is not a ideal situation for Miami. We shall see. Go Canes!

He was scheduled to take 5 OVs this summer, decided after a few trips he had made his choice. Didn’t even UOV to Oregon… then publicly states “OVs won’t change my mind at this point”…

So no visit to Oregon, he said his mind is made up and now has commitment date scheduled before that visit to Oregon…

If this was UM y’all would be screaming “free trip” for the next 2 weeks.

Oregon has had months to be the "highest bidder". They are not. Phil Knight has had months to match. He has not.

All this Miami Moper fan fiction needs to stop. Is Oregon trying to get in the game late? Sure. Does it mean that Miami can't play ball too? **** no. And we don't have Dennis Smith screaming at recruits who get last minute matches anymore. So as long as we are willing to do what it takes, we are fine.

We were about to win this before Phil "Smaug" Knight woke up from his slumber and exhaled. No reason to panic.

Hundreds of millions pumped into facilities from Nike. Tens of millions thrown at athletes to secure top classes (including this sht right here, sweetening the big pot even further). But it’s MIAMI that is messing the numbers up—not them! Couldn’t be!

Ah yes, the classic “we couldn’t beat a blank check” excuse. We may have indeed been the highest offer, but let’s pump the brakes on Oregon’s inability to cut blank checks.
