Maybe. Doesn’t seem like they lead last week when all this started. But now who knows? I can’t remember any recruitment being like this where a visit was scheduled and the decision right afterwards other than signing days. Especially with all the OVs on the table still.

The short answer is no we should not overpay for any player. That is exactly why UT is in the mess they are when they overpaid for Nico.
What we should evaluate as a program is what can be done with the money allocated to Cantrell if he chooses another school, and whether that distribution makes more sense.
