Saban always had loaded DB rooms and the pitch was simple - come play for the best DB's coach on the planet.

It's asinine to compare Cristobal's tenure at Miami at Saban's run at 'Bama, but the pitch is similar. Cantwell, in particular, has an abundance of tools, but needs to be developed. Miami really is in his best long-term interest.

This is a UM/UGA battle.

There is no way he picks Searels over Mirabalio. Kid is too smart for that. Cece, Bell, Samson and Kinsler all gone after 2026 means he's almost guaranteed a starting spot in year 2 after playing behind first rounders. Plus the fact his parents' former coach works at the UM and he loved his visits. We are the logical choice here.

We can’t beat them for WRs but other than that we’ve done pretty well all things considered

Still surprised we didn’t flip Alford last year
