Then maybe they get all the way there and realize Eugene isn't an uber ride from Portland
Because we have been signing 3*s left and right.Just mean for o-line recruits we have fared pretty well
4 blue chip OL recruits in 3 years for the best OL coaches in AmericaBecause we have been signing 3*s left and right.
Connor LewHave Mario lost out on a o-line recruit that he was all in on yet
It’s an auction that’s all it is Jay Sugarman auctions company is swamped.I absolutely think money will be the reason. Why is he visiting Oregon all of a sudden? If they go way over our offer, he'll be a duck unless we match it. Business decisions man

Like auctioning thoroughbreds “ DO I HEAR $$$” this is the professional sport of CFB it’s become a billion dollar business that’s all it it now.
This is wrong There are 34 in Miami.
Exactly.....this is likely not a Lanning vs Mario battle at the end...it's Phil Knight making it all possible....sounds like the kid wants to be at Miami but NIL has changed the game....if that's the case with this kid....Let's hope Miami is prepared to spend a big bag somewhere in the ball park to have a chance....If he visits Oregon it’s over.
We’ll see how serious we are as a program. We’ve got the coaches with a proven track record of development. Current players who will be high picks.
We let OSU grab Smith last minute when they upped it to 4 mill.
I’d imagine Oregon and Phil Knight want to stick it Mario as much as possible. Expect a heavy bag come if from them.
If we're truly the leader the kid will give us every chance to match what Knight puts out there. It's business of course. Kid would be crazy not to listen to the last minute bag increase offer. But if we value this kid that much we gotta win out. Him, Pepe, and Cooper seem to be our top 3 of the board guys. Our class will ultimately be judged by how many of those guys we land.Exactly.....this is likely not a Lanning vs Mario battle at the end...it's Phil Knight making it all possible....sounds like the kid wants to be at Miami but NIL has changed the game....if that's the case with this kid....Let's hope Miami is prepared to spend a big bag somewhere in the ball park to have a chance....
Trying to get Phil Knight to bakc my t-shirt business, wish me luck

Phil knight is near death and has said he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get Oregon a natty before he diesFong updated his article. The Ov is confirmed now. April 19-21 to Oregon
“You don’t speak for all of us” - @JG14Man nobody wants to see some blue haired non binary strippers
Well we do have like 15 OL on the Roster, maybe there are a lot more misses then hits ………Yes, quite a few. Doesn't mean we will here, but some of you need to stop acting like Mario's OL recruiting is indefensible.
This isn’t a dollars and cents thing for the people driving the collectives and throwing their cash at NIL. It’s emotion and ego…there is very different calculus in that ROI equation.Headed in that direction. What I question / wonder is how long these companies (schools) are going to fleece alumni (fans) to pay for their employees (players) via NIL (i.e. fake contract).
It may be viable now, but how long will this continue, especially when some (most) are not getting a ROI on their investment?
Professional organizations have real contracts, salary caps, etc.; they nail fans via tickets, concessions, and merchandise. Professional sports on the collegiate level (because that's what it is) are an anomaly in this respect. It's a complete **** show. I fail to see how this will work.
All these colleges and players have their collective hands out and think people and businesses are going to be an endless well of money. I don't see the viability...

Look at the A game attendance in Tuscaloosa yesterday vs years past.Headed in that direction. What I question / wonder is how long these companies (schools) are going to fleece alumni (fans) to pay for their employees (players) via NIL (i.e. fake contract).
