It's time to speculate on new DT names....

Well, blind hope, but Golden is still leading the way. Like I said, it's not like DT is only the priority for us fans.

What about Derrick Calloway, i see he signed with UL. Any info on his talent level? He had Miami on his list, but did we ever reach out to him???

My understanding is that Bradley did NOT sign with TN Vols. I know we were after him big time and there has been no info since last month on this kid. As we all know, Golden is a freaking recruiting Pit Bull and I suspect something is in the works. If we are taking two DTs, JOCO Bradley and Bostwick would be perfect choices. Bryant can go to South Florida or FAU if he wants to.

Ben Bradley, a 6-foot-2, 315-pound defensive tackle who played at Hutchinson Coummunity College in Kansas will visit Kentucky this weekend then decide among UK, Auburn, Nebraska, Missouri and Tennessee.

Bradley was going to decide on Wednesday but pushed back the decision to visit Kentucky and Auburn. He wants to decide before next week so he can enroll in January. UK’s spring semester classes begin on January 9.

Y'all really shouldn't follow a kid like KB too much. I haven't and I'm not worried at all.


I got KB penciled in as a Cane still just like Collins. And if somehow he signs elsewhere I feel confident Golden has backup plans that have been evaluated and vetted.


I'm too old to be following the daily goings on of a teenager who loves the attention. Have fun with that guys. There's still another month.

Saw Liner play in person from the sidelines five times this season. He was pretty much unblockable. But, he loves Auburn. He doesn't like Alabama at all, but that could change if the Tide win another title on Monday. He's like a smaller Clowney at the prep level, and played on a defense that allowed about eight points a game. Would love to get him, but sometimes it's tough to get top players out of Alabama.

I agree with this but a not commonly known fact is one of his coaches is a hardcore canes fan. He has provided some info on Liner and I'd put the percentage at about 5% of his interest in Miami. Although once he's in Coral Gables for his OV that could dramatically change. Still don't see him signing here though.

From what I understand the SEC is picking up top JUCO DT's at about $60k a pop. Very frustrating. I work with an attorney who was a sports agent up till about 3 years ago. He's told me countless stories of money exchanges at UT & even named players. When Kiffin was there, they (agents & boosters) had pretty much free unrestricted access to the players. Now you know why we're having a difficult time picking up Elite JUCO DT's.

Yeah, UF is bringing in a top Juco DT. Obviously, I don't know anything about the situation.

If they take JUCO's it's **** shame due to the amount of talent sitting on their bench. It would also backup my thoughts on Jimbo's ability to manage a roster.

Between what Cash said and classes/enrollment issues, it's not secret why we have so much trouble getting elite JUCO Dt's in. Also consider we had Shannon in charge and he wasn't exactly the type of guy who wanted to bend over backwards for a kid. Golden is smart enough to know when to take his shots. It's still a mountain of a task but we will make some headway.
