Cam is my Heisman, no QB in our program history was able to do what Cam did. Put Cam on the 2001 Canes and he has 50 TDs 5K yards, undefeated record, natty and a Heisman.

Defense didn’t cost him a Heisman. Caleb Williams won a Heisman and his team was just as flawed, same as Daniels. The issue is that the novelty factor wasn’t there with Cam. He was consistently excellent, and this was a gimmick year.

Nah Travis earned it, it was just a very weird year.

Hunter was an All American type player at WR and DB.

Jeanty had 2500 rushing yards and 30TDs. If it was a normal season Cam has a good chance.

Man I’m so happy for Travis. He’s from the same area as me. Went to school with his family.

So much talent comes out of this area.. but dudes just can’t break away from the bad influences and streets and we just watch them waste their talent away.

Travis parents didn’t allow that.

I don't think so. It was a gimmick year, even if Ward had gone 12-0 and put up the same numbers, it wouldn't have mattered. He wasn't nearly as entertaining as the Two Way Star story line and the midmajor darling who was doing something we haven't seen since Barry Sanders. I think Jeanty should have won it, dude carried Boise freaking State to the CFP and that's with everyone knowing that he is their offense. Think that over. People couldn't stop him and they KNEW he was getting the rock all day.
