This is only about lawsuits. Nobody knows the long-term effects of the virus which is what opens them up to being sued, even with a waiver.
I think that's what the ACC, Big 12 and SEC are trying to figure out.

I'm sure your socialist *** won't mind sharing the gif with @CashMoneyCane and @CaneInHeelCountry ...another couple **** gobblers
This is what happens when you refuse to listen to Dr. Fauci. Stay home if required and don’t protest; wear masks as directed; maintain social distancing. All will be okay when done right. Don’t listen to that *** pervert in the White House.
That's @CashMoneyCane the other **** @CaneInHeelCountry was too busy to post ...Buttigieg wouldn't let him come up for airOne of those guys was telling people to short like crazy back in March.
well the surging numbers in the south and west didnt help make things easier but in the end its about liability. we all know it. universities aren't putting their asses on the line for a season however short of football.Except that it's not really about the disease.

Ain't it great this whole economy of ours is built on sand? College athletics the lifeblood of cities and towns FFS.Anyone who believes we are playing in the spring is foolish. Basketball likely won’t happen either. 18 months without college sports will bankrupt many athletic departments. College athletics might collapse all together. And let’s not even talk about the economic impact to many of these college towns and cities. What a fear **** induced disaster
I posted this in another one of the threads. The Red Sox are without one of their starters because he has heart issues after recovering from covidCardiac Inflammation Next COVID-19 Hurdle for College Leaders

When the Sandusky s**t dropped at pedo state, everyone around here was "you can't kill the football program, you'll kill the town".
Maybe we need to get our priorities in line. I love watching college sports as much as the next guy, but maybe we need to get back to colleges educate kids and the NFL can pay for their own farm system.
These same conference presidents must now consider the possibility of their schools going forward without athletics. Because barring a vaccine or a favorable mutation of the virus, there is no reason to think that a 2021 season would happen either.Spring won’t happen. It will just be another bullshyt “possibility” they throw out there to appease the mob.
We’ve seen this before:
“We will just delay the season!”
“We will just do a Conference-only schedule!”
and now....
“Let’s just do it in the spring!”
A spring season will never happen. Don’t fall for another banana in the tailpipe.
Looking back, this had to be the plan all along, so I hope the media is happy with themselves because this is 100% their doing.
All the players and coaches want to play, but you have the losers in the press doing whatever it takes to stop it all. What a total embarrassment.
If done right from the get go as Dr. Fauci directed, then there won’t be the need for liability concerns today. It’s still about the virus.Except that it's not really about the disease.
