Is the glass half-full, or half-empty?

I said 10-2 in the offseason because the schedule was so pathetic and our talent advantage. I also knew Mario would side swipe a couple mail boxes even with the talent and weak schedule. The season couldn’t have went any more predictable. Right down to the collapse as the year continued.

No apologies needed for going 10-2. There aren’t many teams with a better record. And a lot more teams with worst records who would love that to have won 10 games. And all those teams with one loss annd undefeated Oregon all have games they won where we could put an asterisk for ‘should have or could have lost’ had not a few plays or calls gone in their favor. Or disfavor to the opponent.

Our collective disappointment is how we lost those two games, losing two of three, blowing a chance at the ACC championship game, all while never fixing the defense to be even remotely reliable for a full game. I could care less how they performed against Wake Forest and FSU.

This is still a big improvement over 2022 and 2023.

10-2 feels worse than it. We can win next year with a solid QB, don't need a heisman level guy if the defense can be top 50

Appreciate and enjoyed what Cam did this year. Will never forget it

I wanted to believe. I'm convinced it will take home run coordinators to get anywhere.
I still believe. I believe he is what he was prior to be hired and three years later. So why should I be upset ? I knew what we were getting and was ok with it .

I think it's a bit of both. I can't get over how good the offense and power running game were, but how abysmally bad the defense was. How can both of those things be true? It's a bit surreal because on paper the defense should at least be serviceable to good.
