Is the ACC finished?

Edited to add: finished as a P4. Before long it's just going to be P2 and then other levels of conferences. The ACC and B12 will be a step down and then everybody else. But a chance at a national championship will basically be non-existent.

It's already a P2. A 9-3 Bama team was rated higher than a 10-2 Miami team. That's all you needed to see the SEC is on a higher level - already. Many wanted them in over an 11-2 SMU.

I am trying to jive induction into a SEC/B1G conference while everyone on the nation hates Miami; media, corches, just about every personality or person they call friends of ours. I just don't even know how/if anyone would vote us in or what that would look like.

1. TV bean counters don't hate the Canes, our brand or our market

2. Some high-powered academics got UM into the prestigious AAU last year. Would it be surprising if it was those from the Big Ten who helped make it happen? If not, who else would it be?

Best positioned ACC team? Would that be like being the tallest munchkin in the Wizard of Oz?

We all wear orange and green glasses, but to think the Canes would make a run in the playoffs with the 2024 defense on the field is just not realistic IMO.

ACC and Big XII are no different than the rest of the G5. If they have no shot of anyone other than their conference champ getting in, they are no different.
 
ACC will have the conference champ in the playoffs next year, and that's only bc the playoffs are forced to. you can get 2nd in the acc with 1 loss, and won't make the playoffs. bc of how **** they've represented.


acc 0-3 in all bowls so far.
