Is Miami fans going to go from Fire Guidry to Fire Dawson next year?

Might not have to worry about it cause he might be a HC somewhere else.
What kind of school would look at him this year? G5? I don’t think he’s on a P4 radar yet?

I ask this, because based on what we are looking at next year, if he can continue this success (or at least approach it next year), than I would think he could go up a tier in terms of opportunities. Especially if Milroe comes and he does a good job with him.

I said it all year, the offense was incredibly well-coached this season. Very few pre-snap penalties, very few alignment issues, very little confusion. We were efficient and knew exactly what we wanted to do all year. Hats off to Dawson and all the kids and coaches associated with the offense, it was very refreshing to see. Excellent coaching and execution across the board basically all year.

The only think I’ll nitpick is a lot of what @Cribby said, I don’t see a ton of creativity in what he does. We run zero screens, we run very little misdirection, there isn’t much of a run game outside the tackles. But again, he is who he is and what he does call is efficient and effective because it’s all well-schooled. That’s nothing to sneeze at. I watch a lot of ball at a lot of levels and see chaos and confusion all the time. Miami was very in control all year on that side. That’s coaching and preparation. He’s a good coach, bottom line.

Miami is only losing all this production next year….

Cam Ward: 4,524 total offensive yards

Damien Martinez: 1,206 scrimmage yards

Xavier Restrepo: 1,127 receiving yards

Jacolby George: 752 receiving yards

Isiah Horton: 616 receiving yards

Elijah Arroyo: 590 receiving yards

Sam Brown Jr.: 509 receiving yards

There’s a reason Dawson and his agent was chasing jobs all season long….

I've mention this a few times that were about to find out if Dawson a good OC. I think he is but next year is a big year for him. The offense is rebuilding but they have some nice young players to fill some of those positions. No go find us a serviceable QB, thats his job

Dawson leaves a lot to be desired in a few areas ; the screen game being one . He also doesn’t caused al lot of mismatches in his scheme but he’s been pretty **** good . The offense was good with Tvd minus the picks lol
I was kinda of wondering what would happen next season when the QB isn’t changing the play 50% of the time but you do make a good point. Just have to wonder how much trust SD will have with the next QB to change plays at the line.

Nope,, Fire Mario..

Whether we bring in a last minute Portal QB or roll with Luke Nickel, when he produces a another 3000+yd passer with an efficient & high scoring Offense, I want all you Dawson haters to know...

Your take was incredibly stupid & you had no clue what you were talking about.
