I'm in complete agreement with you. However Gattis has to go at this point. I know he's handicap is sooooooo many ways but even with that you still have to figure things out at get more production. The same run, run, pass, punt was getting old fast. He didn't call anything to help the Freshman QB. Nothing to create rhythm.

It's almost certainly the only game where we will have a sellout this year, so that is good.

As far as coordinators, I imagine that Gattis is gone next year either b/c he or Mario wants him out. Steele I am guessing Mario would give another year, but I wouldn't be surprised if Steele bows out on his own.

Agreed. Give it to Ponce and have him run something more modern. Even if he doesn't succeed, you at least show the recruits that you are willing to go more modern and then find someone proven in the offseason.

I think there won't be any moves made til the season is over. But give Ponce a try. Something to create rhythm. We have no flow to the game. It's like a 3 year old pressing buttons on a controller and picking a hail marry on 2nd down. What we do makes no sense on offense

Clearly the best case scenario for Gattis is that he is just not a fit here, but regardless of what Hardbaugh thought of him as a play caller I think Gattis became malcontent after Michigan didn't consider him as a HC candidate when Hardbaugh was flirting with the NFL. At that point Hardbaugh was probably happy that Mario 'stole' him.
