A lot of coaches today make a lot of money to live out of their gucci suitcases. They all land on their feet elsewhere. And some actually do better on other teams because they have better talent. You can’t teach instinct

I doubt Guidry is going anywhere. Makes no sense to keep him around during portal season if he is not going to be here next year coaching the guys they are evaluating and recruiting.

Defensive recruiting class wasn’t as strong as the offensive side. Had this to do with our defensive performance this year. On the portal side, how do you sell these recruits on coming, based on the collapse, and our safety play. Not one group on defense improved year over year.

I don’t love if Guidry is or isn’t the coach, because I do want him gone, but I do love how you guys literally never learn anything as if coaching right now or being mentioned in the portal for Guidry means he’s not going to lose his job or is going to keep his job. Old enough to remember when an oc we all he hated two years ago didn’t get fired till January 27 but Most of the board was in meltdown, thinking he was staying, despite with some people were telling you

You know what I would be more ****ed off if he did figure it out! Why did it take you all season, and cost us a shot at playoffs? Then in a meaning-less bowl game your dialed in! Now I would rather a consistence performance. If he got it figured out for the bowl I would fire him!!

I was getting really bothered about him being involved with the portal players. First thing this morning I remembered he had TRob and others recruiting when they were leaving. Remember TRob in his non branded white button down shirts on the trail? I can't stand Mario's process and it makes you question what you were told, but hold steady. We don't know the message while they have Guidry involved. It's hard to believe it can't hurt us, though. It already has.
