NC State 247 site reports that he was very good at their camp, as well. Didn't lose a rep. Canadian kid from outside Toronto.
Not good enough for an offer though? Or is 247 just late to update?

Saw he camped at Rutgers too but no offer.

If this is the pivot for EPL or Ahfua…won’t doubt OL evals til given a legit reason but…This is a **** offer list to say the least.

Can we just close on the other two and wrap up shop? Unless they want a true center and hope we hit a diamond in the rough, and EPL and Ahfua are interior guys. Just saying he is not on their level.

Two thoughts -- 1. They may take all three. and 2. they can't have no Plan B options at all, that would be a move Al Golden or Manny would make.

Watch the tape. Consider the position. If that's not good enough, think about who is offering. Mario. Mirabal. Alonzo. Woodiel. The most respected OL evaluating staff in the country think he's worthy.

This isn't scrambling. It's July. It's an evaluation.

Watch & see who else offers going forward.
Right I get it. I’m just curious as to 1. His offer list is not good, and 2. If he camped so well at Rutgers and NC St, why didn’t they offer him?

Do they think he’s physically tapped out? I don’t know the answer to that, I’m just trying to match the offers with the film and performances at camps and figure out where the gap is. It’s not like we’re that early to the game, it’s almost August.

Maybe I’m missing something but I’d rather have a mauler at center instead of a brainiac? Not sure if brains can help you if a 335lb nose tackle is coming at your neck? I mean how many centers in football are wizards lol. It’s simple protection and identifying where pressure is coming from, it’s not a math equation.

His film is decent I guess but the offer list isn’t relatively close to anything desirable. Connecticut has some solid football but also some complete trash. No shot you can spin Ivy offers, FCS/D2 and FAU as a good list.
Find me a dumb center and you’ll find a hot mess on the line. Smarts is very important for the leader of the OL.

Fair enough. Assume arm length. (31.5 is subpar, even at center)

Centres need to be one of the smartest on the team as they manage all the changes and call outs. If they’re just a meathead, that doesn’t bode well either.

Does this mean no Eddy Pierre-Louis? Or do they just not view Pierre Louis as a C prospect

Either way, I like the offer. Mario and Mirbal know what they are doing at OL
