I remember watching Santana Moss return punts from the end zone at Monte’s Hurricane Club enjoying wings and beer.

To really appreciate speed watching SM return warmup punts warming up his afterburners speed selection was EYE POPPING.

In terms of talent, yes. But what Ruggs did was so horrible that I wonder about who he ever was as a person. I still shudder when I think about the young lady and her dog. I always hope that both her unconscious from the accident.
I think Saban had his players under a stronghold, but once they go, they're on their own. Too many players left Bama for the league who ended up making poor decisions with their life.

I love coaching against WR's who have straight line speed but no other redeeming attributes. The hardest guys to cover are never the fastest.

Xavier Henderson, Ray-Ray Joseph, Jacory Barney...
The list of speedsters I've/we've shut down over the years is long.
You know who I/we had trouble covering? Kids like Malachy Tony and to some extent Josh Moore.
Guys who are tough, physical and can run routes.
Why? Because they still find ways to get open when you take away the verticals. They fight off press. They "body" the Corner for contested balls. They get YAC.
