Interesting interview from that undersized LB from Booker T

Why are we still talking about this kid? I never read one thing where he came out and said Miami was his leader, or even hinted at it. It sounds like the kid never had any interest in playing football in his hometown. The fact that he wouldn't even come check out our campus on an official visit should have spoken volumes to everyone about his potential interest in Miami. Good luck in that ****** *** town, Mr. Thomas. Please refrain from ever throwing up the "U," "305," or any other finger symbols that relate to the hometown that you have shunned.

AND YET A BUNCH OF INSUFFERABLE RANDY **** SUCKERS ON THIS BOARD ATTACKED OUR HC "FOR LETTING THIS KID GO".

This dude trolled so many people and he seems like an ******* to boot. I think he knew he was going to fsu and threw kirkland off cause jimbo probably didnt want kirkland either.

The next time we discuss kirkland it will be because he is transferring same with Bryant. Thomas is gonna blow out his knee and will not live up to the expectations. Same would have happened if he came to miami. Book it.

I don't give a **** about this kid. He should've told the coaches he wanted to get away

Your right, if he would have told the coach he wasn't coming early, his teammate probably wouldn't have had his scholarship pulled.

I would believe USC because he didn't look happy when he committed. I am happy with grace. I love him. Skia Moore looked a little slow on tape so maybe he evaluated weak

Don't really care about this kid. Don't wish ill will, but I hope either Duke makes him eat dust or someone lays him on his ***.

All this talk about Matthew Thomas being level headed and mature right now needs to go out the window. This kid is inconsistent even on one interview.

- He talks about not being able to trust Miami coaches because of Kirkland's situation, then does the almost exact same thing to Kirkland. If these guys are workout buddies, then I'm sure he could've texted or tweeted DK he wasn't going to USC. Hypocrite.
- He talks about not trusting the Miami coaches but strung them along for the ride when he knew he wasn't going there
- He probably was a silent, probably told Coley that he was FSU all the way, and felt Coley probably outed him to AG. He then hides behind DK's situation as a reason to not commit to Miami. At 17 yrs old. I wasn't as big as this kid, but **** I wasn't no ***** either. I told it straight up
- He was isolated, didn't like social media pressure, and succumbed to mommy. Good luck kid, but you need to grow up. Get ready for Tally, where you ARE the star, you'll get pressured and thrown under the bus if you don't perform. At Miami or USC, there's Kobe, Lebron and other detractors that will diffuse the attention.

Matthew Thomas may be a stud, but I'm not mad. He would've made some difference here, but there are talented kids who could potentially make an impact every year. After reading this, you respect a kid like AC more who went with his gut and stuck with it. He didn't need to bash Miami or anything.

And his jack *** coach should have encouraged him to tell them before NSD rather than "have fun" at the expense of the staff (reputation, roster management, etc).

Kid just had little to no interest in Miami. I'm not going to attempt to poke holes in his rationale...it is, what it is. He really wanted to go to USC, but mom didn't want him that far, so he went to FSU...fin.

In the process, he Kelley Washington'd Kirkland, but, I don't think FSU wanted him anyway.

I would have loved to see the FSU war room if Kirkland pulled a switch and put an FSU hat on after the other kid committed to them.

Talent only gets you so far...this type kid is a shannon special. Comes in as a freshman makes some plays that get noticed yet is inconsistent. Fans take notice and expect big things yet said player never improves and play stays at that same inconsistent level for their entire college career because they did not have the drive to get better.

Now tell me more about the guys coming in and the guys that are newly committed pls

Just so I know. Did I just read that the kid who doesn't trust our coaches told USC he was coming there and told Kirkland the same thing, then went to FSU?

**** him!
