At least our coaches had to know in advance... Already one positive of bringing Coley over. Thomas was probably ****ed cuz he knew Coley was blowing up his spot.. and not the Canes coaches knew he was full of ****

I doubt that. Why would Golden look shocked? why would we offer Skai so late if we knew he was not coming?

Agreed, we didnt seem to have a good feel for thomas at all. Not sure if he played Golden or what but it seems we were never really in it and were the only ones who didnt know. Kinda like the thread in Wez where you are dating a girl and everyone else knows about her except you. Sucks, because I feel like we missed on a real player who WANTED to be here in Skai

If he got offered and turned it down, then he didn't really want to be here either. You know who really wanted to be here? Jawand Blue and Corny Elder. Guys who got offered at the last minute and jumped on it like a starving dude on a sandwich.

I Have no clue why you guys didnt see the sign...my main one was him being indifferent to taking a official visit here...he might be one of the first i ever seeb if a top prospect we were all in on..that gave no f*cks about an official...even though he knew he was going to get pampered on visit.,..he had to be forced into taking a mid week bs game..

-early on there were rumblings dude wanted out...

still not buying the usc thing..he just says whatever to please reporter and keep good graces at home...

Final- My theory was correct. Coley came with the news that Matt Thomas def wasnt coming here.........and Kiirk probably was iffy so Golden an crew came with the power play that showed their hand..

Ice was kept out of the loop with the kid in my opinion...dont think he had strong power on thomas's recruitment...remember the kid was being recruited already when ice was still working for us.

Only problem i have is why didnt they turn efforts within the last week up with skai moore...even a official visit just to put out their in case they sent a letter of intent to him as a backup. MAJOR FU8k up as that kid wilL EXPLODE up at usc and he definately was in the bag.

I don't believe the going to USC part for one second. So after the entire process, over a year long, the visits, recruiting, phone calls, interviews, etc, your heart is set on going to USC and all it took was a no to change your mind instantly? Not buying it. IMO, it's more covering up for he fact that out "pipeline, feeder" school had Thomas cancel his visit to Miami on that huge Jan 18 weekend.

Anyways, **** him, as well as the running back and offensive lineman at Arkansas. **** the DT's at FSU and Florida as well. One they choose not to become Canes, **** 'em, and they cease to exist unless they actually make a name for themselves by doing something greater than having a nice 40 time and showing up to the right camps.
