not enough, And typically those players that play under redshirt usually play against scrubs.
Nickel should get a lot of reps/half against scrubs and a couple series against everyone else.

That will get transfers excited about coming here next year. Instead of what we have the last two years with WRs not knowing what our qb situation will be like.

Would rather the insurance policy QB be one of the former 4/5 stars (or Moga from Oregon) when and if they hop in either portal. We are short bodies in the room as Jacurri is gone (soon to be replaced by whoever the rental is) and we meant to take 2 the next year - we didn't and the one we took is unplayable.

injuries happen as well. You need as many bodies as possible especially at QB.

I think those two games could be the exception for Nickel, depending on how the game is going since those are very early in the year.

Sure, Mario brought 2 in last year but to carry 4 scholarship QBs

Right now it is Emory, Judd & Luke

I believe there is a new rule incoming as well where all collegiate athletes will get 5 years not 4 which will make redshirting obsolete?

Emory had opportunities but isn't where he needs to be in year two. He worked hard and we did right by him, but he needs to find an opportunity to play somewhere.
